Say mate, curious as to why all the pics so far have been .png. I convert them to .jpg every time to save space. It's not like they're huge or anything but it all adds up.
At this level of detail PNG's aren't necessary, but of course it may be convenient for you.
FWIMBW, if you're on Mac there's a way to change the default snapshot setting from PNG to JPG (and other formats). This is my reference-text file on it:
Type or copy/paste the following commands into the Terminal window. Press the return or enter key after you enter each line of text:
defaults write com.apple.screencapture type jpg
killall SystemUIServer
To return to the default setting:
defaults write com.apple.screencapture type png
The above commands will set the file format to JPG. You can use any of the following for the value following "Type" in the first command above: png, pdf, tiff, pict, jpg, bmp, gif, psd, sgi or tga
By setting the default screenshot graphics format to one of the file formats you use the most, you can streamline your workflow.
