This is great Bommel, well done!
I'm not sure what the issue is. You should have similar sound for your FX between 5.0 and 3.3. Especially since it was already working in 4.2 earlier, I assume.

Great it worked for yuo @Bommel, you must feel relief now. Pleas follow the @hjscheffler's guide and backup your profiler before updating to betas (or even releases).

Excellent! I suggest doing a backup of this and then reinstalling 5.0. If the problem still exists, then do a backup of the 5.0 system. You can then send both of these to support.
edit: Actually, do backups in any case

Oh yes xD that teached me a lesson xD thanks for the help guys

IF somebody finds this and has the same problem:
Go to the main site/Support/Operating System Updates/Legacy Operating System Version ... here's the link:
https://www.kemper-amps.com/downloads/8/Le…stem%20VersionsInstall an even older Version, like 3.3.0
When it workes backup the System (not like i, just the profiles. I learned my lesson now xD )Now you can try again installing the newer version and as long as it workes keep your updates up to date ...
/is it okay like this guys ? I would be happy if there would have been an answer like thing online so i hope someday it will help somebody. And thanks to the support! Good i mean, sarcasm and offtopic discussions aside it is cool when you can rely on a forum

yes to this
i do that at the moment and it seems that 4.2 has the same problem so no need for installing 5.0 too right ?

i seems that the rectishaper got a new tweaking so now my most important fuzz sound doesn't work anymore, as soon as i deactivate it works but the sound is now different ... my question is
how can i go back to a older firmware?
Is the recti shaper placed after the amp?
In this case the sound can sound differently in firmwares 4.2 and later.
This is based on a fix requested by users. -
Hi Bommel...I second Ingolf advices and ask you to edit the thread title with the word solved so that people can find it easier when having a similar issue. thanks
-
HI @Bommel I am with @Ingolf on updating this thread title to "Recti shaper broken in 5.0" or something adequate. Also if you found a solution and it is in the post number 48 then add [SOLVED] prefix to the thread title, to help other users cope with similar issues.
You may also update your first post here and post the link to the resolution post:

This is based on a fix requested by users.Hey thanks for the answer no it is placed before the amp ...is it possible to add the old rectishaper as a "rectishaper legacy" because now i'm stuck with the 3.3.0 version otherwise the sound doesn't work and the whole sound of my band "mudgod" relies on that ... i added a sound sample of how it sounds now ... the rectishaper is also at maxed out because at this setting it behaves crazy like a old fuzz ... the new rectishaper is cool too but in my case i need the old one
-
threadname changed @Michael_dk @DonPetersen" so i guess i was right after all, when it comes to my second thread in feature request ... the rectishaper changed, therefore the sound changed ... and my request was that updates should leave the sounds untouched ... that was also the case with the change of delay types, when the older delays got replaced by the legacy delay...
or volume settings of the input and so on ...
i don't know if there is enough space on the memory of the kemper to leave older versions of the effects untouched and in the new version but it would makes sense like in my case at the moment ...
also the volume and routing settings go to a default state after installing a udate right ? there has to be a way to implement these settings into the updated version ...like install new firmware->yes/no, keep settings->yes/no that way people don't have to setup things again and a complete newinstall would be possible too
But i'm extremely thankful about all these great updates, i hope i can use them soon
