Hi Forum,
i made 2 profiles with different (very different) cabs. But when i switch between both profiles i hear no difference
(and i should). When i take a cab from another (bought) profile i hear a difference.
Does any one has an idea what i'm doing wrong?
Thanks in advance...

Maybe you have locked the cab section..happened to me once too

What kind of microphone did you use?Did you use the same microphone and mic placement on both cabs?
-
Yes, all the same. Both profiles with SM 57. One with TC 2 x 8" cab.
And the other with EV 15L cab. -

sure, i checked locking but as i said, i can take cabs from other profiles and they sound different. -

Thanks in advance...did the amp sound differently when you changed the cabinet?
If so, did the A/B test reveal a difference between the Profile and the source? -
Hi Don,
unfortunately my cabs have different (fix) plugs, so that i can't use a switcher. I will make a record of
both cabs to check that.
But in the end i think i really have a problem in differencing tone. I checked the kemper tests of @kizzer

and i heard nothing change. -

Test 4 is the only one where the cab changes, I think its pretty pronounced on every change, don't you?

No, i don't. But if you all hear much difference it is clear now that i have a problem with my ears.
So i have to visit the doctor...
