New User (less than a week!!) - Output and rig clarification

1 The master volume will control only those that are in bold (linked). You can select them all or none. I only link mine to Monitor out onstage so that I'm not changing FOH.

2 There is no midi CC for master volume as the volume pedal feature does this pretty well. Any expression pedal set to CC#7 acts as a master volume controller. You can set it to any position you like, pre stomps, post effects, etc. This is set in the Rig menu and can be global (by pressing "lock volume pedal") or set on a rig by rig basis.

3 -15db is what has been found to be the best. I set mine for -16 to give some headroom in case our sound guy doesn't like guitars that day lol.

4 They are global. I set my rigs up using the individual rig EQ sections and then use the Main/Monitor outs to adjust for different venues, cabs, etc.

Thanks OhG I'm buying it lol. I don't usually buy profiles but this one might be perfect for my '79 Falcon. Still trying to get that (right to my ears) 80's sound, I know it's out there somewhere....

@Booyah, if you're looking for the AFD sound, I'd go with the one I mentioned above. But another profile you may want to check out if you're looking for 80's sound, is the TopJimi Marshall with the Lee Jackson mod. It's Paul Gilbert's old amp from when he was in Racer X. Sounds great. I think it sounds a little more full than the AFD profile (not knocking the AFD profile - I use that one too - they're just different). Those are two of my absolute favorite rock profiles that I've found so far and I use them both pretty regularly.

Bought the Caswell Modded Marshall Saturday and It's a damn fine sounding amp

Man, a good laugh will sure make you feel good!!

Might want to look around for info on the mics used in the studio as well, might get you even closer to the tone on the album.
