Now that I have a Kemper, nailing the intro to In My Place should be easy right?
Can someone help? I just can't get that ringing full sound. I just got the Kemper yesterday so all help is needed.

The Coldplay song? Sounds a fairly clean sound - single coil pup? - maybe through a fender amp - add some compression - and set the mix to around 65%. Set a delay with repeats in time with the track and some modulation. Bring up the delay feed back and that should help with the fullness of the sound.
The reverb and delay are important. Check out this thread for some interesting atmos presets that may work (with some tweaks).
MAB Advanced Reverb Release 3 + 4 - Rigs
IIRC Jonny Buckland plays his '72 Tele Thinline (which has the widerange humbuckers) for this song. Use a Fender Twin or Deluxe profile, fairly clean, with a slight amount of compression and delay. I wouldn't use modulation or only a tad.
Thanks everybody.Problem...I've got a Les Paul.
then reduce vol. pot, add definition & clarity and a bit of direct signal on AMP parameters and you'll be done !

that shoudn't be a problem. it's all in the delay/reverb. quite a lot of reverb... also, it sounds like 2 guitars to me.
Thanks everybody. Seems easy but I can never get it. It is damn hard to sound like the record. The song socks if you miss out on all the chimes
