So without unity gain, I would have to adjust levels all of the time?
Or I wouldn't even be able to do that?
It would be up to you to set the levels on the Ax8 as you could change the levels on the Fx8.

Ok, thanks guys.
FX8 it is.
The link you gave @ColdFrixion is just what I was looking for.
I did look first but I couldn't find a clear concise comparison. Just random things about each.
Guess I still can't be part of the comparison discussions.
Now watch, the new batch of AX8s will be released first and I will have to be strong against my temptation and wait for the FX8.
Edited.
In an attempt to create a synthetic death metal type tone for @Hannes_ITS I tried some different IRs. Amazingly there isn't as much increase in noise on the resulting profiles.
Here is a reamp of Hannes's riff with the profile if anyone would like to listen:
Edit: Updated with EQ adjustment on the Kemper.
Is this Nickleback? Well, maybe kinda...kinda not, Haha!
Hey Deadpan, love the clips. Thanks for posting.
How long were you on the waitlist for one of these?
Thanks for the listen and kind words. I was within the first 15 minutes or so of the wait list opening and it took around 3.5 months to get the invite to order.
I about gave up on it. The temptation was just too great when the invite came.
The price is good and sound is great but the lack of ability to reamp in the digital realm is a big limitation for me. Luckily it works amazingly in the loop of my Kemper in profile mode. I can use it just like a Kemper profile and even get to use the Kemper effects with it.

Can you reamp in general?
With it in the loop of the Kemper reamping is awsome.
Happy to say I believe I found the source of the added noise. Will be testing further.

What is it?
It has to do with the guitar input on the Ax8.
Found today that you can lower the noise floor during refining. I think this would apply to regular amps as well as the Axe.
I have two of your AX8 profiles and they are both great.
Thank you.
Will there be more or a collection for sale of all the AX amp sounds?
Thanks again.

I have considered it. I want to make sure I can get the best out of them first.
I know I have bought profiles in the past and been disappointed. No one can be 100% satisfied but I wouldn't feel right charging for something that isn't worth it.
I have also considered the donation route, if someone likes them and they want to donate there would be that option.
I have spent a lot of time testing and find new things that make them better each day.
I am also open to doing custom sounds, so if there is anything you want we could work together on it and no payment would be necessary until you are satisfied.
Latest Splawn Quick Rod sound test:
I would like ALL the amp models straight out of the AX8.
I will donate!
I have upped an updated version of the Splawn to the Exchange.
Note: I created this with 4.0 OS, You need at least 3.3 to load this. Sorry if anyone had problems, I just found out.
Thank you, deadpan.
Welcome Monkey!
I just found out that for profiles created in 4.0 one needs at least 3.3 to load them so if anyone is below 3.3 please do not load the Splawn profile until you upgrade.
