I own an old Behringer V-Amp-Pro (kind of a Pod pro). I'm not an pro, so it's good enough to replace the Kemper in case of desaster.
I hopefully never have to....

For my live setup its Guitar ( '14 JIL Jama and a '79 Washburn Falcon), Wireless (Sennheiser XSW-72), Kemper unpowered rack, Main out to FOH in GLORIOUS mono :D, Monitor out to a Matrix GT800FX power amp and then out to my 2 Mission Gemini 1P cabs. I use a Roland FC-300 to control the Kemper.
I could easily go stereo but why bother, there's really not that much benefit for most spots in most venues IMHO. The Matrix/Mission combination is a really good FRFR which seems to me to have more of the punch of a traditional cab without sacrificing dispersion.
With this combination, I'm mixing two worlds , analogic and digital for recreate a surround effect, since I mix two diferent amp sound, totally panoramic. This setup is for a Metal Band with only one guitarist player.
Is each setup panned or blended? I'm the only guitarist in my band too (hard rock to just about anything else) and am always looking for ideas. Great thread!
My backup "rig" is about as basic as it gets. I originally moved to the KPA to downsize the amount of gear I was lugging around, so I followed the same simple approach on my backup rig. Simply 1 pedal that lives in my guitar case. Havn't had a single problem with my KPA so I've never had to pull it out at a gig, but it actually sounded pretty darn good the few times I've tested it at practice.

Is totally panned. The main Idea is get out from PA in the same way as two guitar players in the band, two amplifiers completely different, and two chains of effects completely different. In summary, two gears separately, moving with only one guitarrist player, and in PA FOH each gear completely panned to one side Left or Right, In order to recreate the same sensation of two guitarrists sounding.

I think is for recording processed sound and DI at same time in different tracks. Recording DI in a separate track greatly facilitates the editing of the track, while also able to make reamping.

@roberwild is 100% correct here AND -- guess what -- i recorded a 12 year old student of mine. Iron Man by BS. I recorded three tracks. The sound she was playing over the
KRKs, just in case it would have been good enough, which did not happen. And then reamped the whole stuff i had recorded via SPDIF Ha!
Very cool.
Even more so the fact that there are actually girls playing BS in this day and age!
