It would be nice to have a droptune effect that could be placed before amp stack section.
There are a few stomp boxes doing this job but have it inside the kemper would be really nice and easy.
Droptune effect

Are you thinking of things like this: http://digitech.com/en/products/the-drop ? If so, we've had that for ages. Have a look at the Transpose effect.
If you want something that will just go from standard tuning to Drop D.... that's ridiculously hard to do without a hex pickup. I don't think there's a product out there that can do Drop D, in realtime, with a normal 1/4" guitar signal.

I mean exactly "the drop" effect. It's a pitch effect that has to work accurate with chords and single notes.
I'll try the transpose effect. Thanks for help and sorry for that silly suggestion.

I've been using the transpose function regularly for dropping everyting 1/2 step, just to avoid switching guitars when needed.
FYI, you can also set up a second transpose effect in the same rig with a full step drop, to take you down to D... then engage both to take you all the way down to C#. It's sounds a bit funky but works.
I'm sure you could go the other direction to avoid using a capo, but I don't think you'd get the 'jangly' sound of a capo'd guitar. -

I agree with the best harmonizer effect. Hello, first post:
just tried the traspose effect for the first time (I just bought a kemper).
To me it's quite funny and good sounding but I need a bit more time to really understand. Why I see lots of people using the digitech drop pedal with the kemper? Does it sound better? Is it "faster"?
Thank you.

Nothing (or too soon to give you an answer), the less I have the happier I am
I'm just curious to understand why I see so many digitech drop pedals and if there is a real improvement. -
Kempers "Transpose" is same quality

The Whammy offers some Lo-Fi (but original ) character of pitch shifter effect - for some persons it is desirable to have this kind of tone . -

Yes I know - but from what i hear they use the same algorithm like in the whammy ( they are patented this algo) . Just you don't have expression pedal to control this fx - only the switch.
