Anyone else try out the new Beta 3.1.3 yet? Just tried it and so far seems to be working ok and not loading any weird anomalies via midi foot controller/ rig manager. Will
be working with it more as this week goes on.

Actually, we can not reproduce a single problem with 3.1.3 - so, if you have such an issue with 3.1.3, open a ticket, if it is with 3.0.2 or 3.1.0/3.1.2, update to 3.1.3.

I will try

I have tested it and it works great, yes even for midi.

I can confirm this also very good release

Looking good so far.
Thanks Kemper team....

Upgraded in 3.1.3, and... the problem is still here !!! I noticed one rig is in particular faulty. Will make a tutorial to explain.

Hi,
I still have the "midibug" in performance mode.
It happens when you switch bank and select a preset first time.
Select another preset in that bank and jump back to the first preset and it sounds ok.This happens with my FCB1010 and "Kemper PROM".
Works okej with my Profiler Remote.I also see the author name of the rig doesn't change then switching with midi, everything else change.
With Profiler Remote no problem.I will send in a support ticket and a backup as soon as possible.

I still have the midi problem with OS 3.1.3 in browse mode. If i load the profiles with the rig manager, the profiles sound right.
Downgraded to OS 3.0.2 and everything works/sounds like it should be -
I think I figured out that the rig changes but the cab doesn't. Let's say you start with rig1 and switch to rig2 via MIDI. I made some tests and the faulty rig (rig2) sounded like rig2 with the cab from the rig you selected first (rig1). I checked this by locking the cab which resulted in the same sound as when changing the rig via MIDI.
If you start with another rig (by selecting by hand at the Kemper or with Kemper Remote) then this cab is used for the rigs you select next.
In the display, it shows the name of the cab which should be selected, but it doesn't sound like this cab.Can someone confirm this?

Just create a support ticket they will try to confirm it.

Also opened a ticket. I did tests you can find here :
I faced in 3.1.2 the tone changed like a wah cocked when programs selected via MIDI footcontroller.
Went back to FW3.0.2 and no bug reported. As Timo adviced, I jumped to FW3.1.3, and the bug came back.

You will find in this link an downloadable audio clip (I didn't reamp as the tone changes were really obvious) and I detailed in the procedure in the description of the same page. -
I did a System Reset in case of, without any success...
After some checkings, I think the problem may come from the ProgramChange1.
I mean I don't have any problem if I don't select ProgramChange1 RIG via KPA nor MIDI. I can switch the other Programchange RIGS via MIDI without any problem.
There are 2 "bugs" related to the ProgramChange1
1 - Selecting the ProgramChange1 RIG via MIDI make sound the rig chosen for programchange1 "duller"/"darker than he is normally. Then you can switch to the Programchange rigs via MIDI and they seem to work OK...
2 - Selecting the ProgramChange1 RIG via KPA in Browse mode, then selecting via MIDI another ProgramChange RIG will produce a kind of unwanted LOCK feature that will color the new ProgramChange RIG with prestomp FX of ProgramChange1.
I did a test :
1 - I assigned to ProgramChange1 a shimmering sparkling clean tone. I select it via KPA, then selects via MIDI another ProgramChange RIG. Bug occurs, the others rigs selected now sound way more shimmering/sparkling than they were (the sparkling clean tone is the most sparkling tone I have).
2 - 1 - I assigned to ProgramChange1 a BASS simulation clean tone with a pedal pitch (-1 octave). I select it via KPA, then selects via MIDI another ProgramChange RIG. Bug occurs, the others rigs selected now sound with a bass/low octaver effect !Programchange1 when selected via KPA color the tone of other rigs if they are selected via MIDI. When bug declared, changing rig via KPA and bug has disappeared.
It doesn't come from the profile, but more like an unwanted LOCK feature activated when
-
Still have the bug too. I'm using a MIDI BUDDY MP128. Just downgraded again to OS 3.0.2
-
Back to 3.0.2 too. If KPA needs other tests from me, I can go back to 3.1.3
-
Just create a support ticket they will try to confirm it.
Yes, I already did this. I just wanted to know if I someone has experienced the same issues. -
