Could you use the Return of the Fx loop set Ont the first slot. Electric goes in main input, acoustic in loop and make performances from there

I use a Mac Miniand have the same issue as the OP. I generally just reboot the computer and then it works but it is a pain having to do it every time.

I currently do not own a bass guitar so have been trying to create one using the transpose and compression and eq effects. It does an “ok” job but wondered if anyone here has had success and willing to share their tips
Thanks in advanceDan

Did you try turning the KPA off and back on again? I had a similar experience once and all it took was a reboot.

I have used a TC Helicon FX150 for those situations. It’s loud enough for a personal monitor. Can mount to a mic stand or even sit on the floor as a wedge. It has a built in 3 channel mixer. The tone is pretty good considering the size. I know Mackie and Behringer make similar units.

I am experimenting with the acoustic sim. It is very good but find I get a little closer by using a profile of an Avalon preamp and the studio eq. Some compression can help as well. Other fox to taste

For live I use mono for recording I use stereo panning usually 100% left / right

I used my toaster into my thr10 into the aux with 2 1/4” into stereo mini jack cable. Worked fine albeit you couldn’t push it real loud without some breakup. The flat response on the input worked too but overall preferred the aux input. I still prefer using my studio monitors but the THR would work.

Confused are you talking about Synergy systems? Haven’t heard of Synology. I have an Ethos preamp pedal and it can be done but like post above adds more complexity to setup. The better idea would be to profile the preamp and make a rig with it.

Not pricey if you look at the amp vs module
Diezel VH4 amp: $4399
Diezel Synergy Preamp (made by Diezel): $399
you still need a Syn-1 or Syn-2 but yes still less than the amp

I have tried out a number of their modules. I was quite impressed and with direct recording options would be a viable alternative to other modellers/profilers if you only need 1 or 2 different tones. Yes the system can be pricey but can be worth it if you find the right preamp modules.

I have the FCB1010 loaded with the EurekaProm 3 chip. Works very well and even allows use of the looper. Only complaint I have is the foot switches are hard to push if you are sitting. I have leg and back disabilities so can’t stand for very long periods of time and sometimes have had some difficulty in pressing the switches. But other than that it does everything I need for my needs

I use the Eurekaprom and the looper works with it. Having said that I don’t use it much other than laying out a rhythm track to improvise over so as far as all the functions I can’t comment.

I don’t have the 18i8 ( I have an old Presonus Firestudio, similar in’s and outs I believe)
I run my guitar to input of KPA and Spdif out of KPA to Spdif in of Presonus. With software supplied you should be able to see levels and what channel(s) are active (in my case 9&10).
In GarageBand I open a track and when choosing the track you can specify which channel(s) as the input. Once you see signal on that track adjust if needed by the input meter.
Not sure if that helps but that’s what works for me -
Sollazzon beat me to it.

Just purchased the OD and SSS pack(also downloaded the Free Pack) haven’t spent a lot of time yet but the ones I tried were stellar! I will be spending lots of time with these but so far they don’t require much tweaking at least for me.
Job well done!

Will be getting a few of your packs. Do some of these profiles include morphing gain etc that you have posted about in the past? These will definitely help pass the time at home
