Hey - So can someone explain the expression pedal use here. I was under the impression you want the pitch shift to be locked at 12, but its setup to go between 10 and 12 on the pedal from heel to toe. Do I just not plug in a pedal and it defaults to 12?
12- string guitar simulation like in the Digitech Mosaic

The 10 and 12 were in Paults' original profile which I then tweaked. I have since deleted the pitch pedal and have an ok emulation (see post below). I don't use a pedal with it except for volume @dtishenk. Hope that helps.

It seems like I made the 12-string rig before Morphing was available, but, maybe not.
If there is pedal control in the original rig, it may have been an edited version of a dual lead or pedal steel effect rig.

All good.

I'm wondering if your author name on RE is paults and PaulTS? I tried the "Petty" version and I want to check out the 12 string rig in it's original form. Thanks
Yes, I’m both those people
I’ll post the rig that Gary used as a basis, as well as a more lush kind of 12-string Rig.

Oh, cool, that's be super sweet.. thank you!

Here is a Dropbox link to three 12-String Simulation Rigs. You may want to save the STOMPS sections as presets. and try them with some different amp profiles of your preference.

Nice! I'll check those out!

Thank you Paults,,!!

@paults - I just tried your newer (I think) 12 strings from Dropbox... thanks loads btw. I love the 'Deluxe' but I played around with it. As an experiment - try dropping the gain to 0.2, and increase your Chromatic 'Mix' level to -4%. This for me really made it the bomb. Great job!! (see below)
-
@prsgary - Thanks! I’ll give those tweak suggestions a try.
Before I could post them, I substituted my Deluxe Reverb Profile for the other rigs I was using them with - so, they have newer dates.
-
Actually -4% is too bright... try -13.0%. The decreased gain really makes this nice for Byrds, Beatles, Petty, where the Rick's were pretty clean. I love it with your Deluxe Reverb Profile. Thanks for sharing. Let me know how you like my little tweaks.

Awesome, thanks very much!

You’re welcome, Folks!
Needless to say, all six strings are in octave pairs, but, you may find them musically useful anyway. -
The other objection I had to the Mosaic - going from a clean 12-string sound to a lead tone without 12-string required at minimum two button presses - one for the Mosaic, and one for the new KPA lead rig. That's a lot when you're on stage. More dancing than I care to do.
I have the Mosaic as my one and only pedal between my guitar and the Kemper. But with the additional time on my hands lately, I am looking to incorporate it into an effects loop so that I can make it switchable from my Kemper Remote. Would I be correct in assuming that placing the Mosaic in a Mono Effects Loop in the "A" Stomps slot would be the equivalent of my current setup, but then have the advantage of making it switchable from the Remote? Or is there a possibility of degradation of sound quality vs having the guitar plug directly into it?

You can use it on slot A, if don't have anything else in the loop.
But i wouls sugest ... sell it, as long as you ask for money ...
Kemper Acoustic simulator is part of one of the next firmware releases.

I don't know... but I think this will be the first question every one will ask.

That does sound pretty amazing; but likely will still need the Mosaic. I am now experimenting with putting it in the Mono Loop Stomp A position, will definitely be looking forward to trying out the Acoustic Simulator.
-
So the last 3-4 weeks I have been using the Mosaic in Stomp A position, and I have to say it has been a bit underwhelming. The effect sounds slightly muffled, and I hear background hiss while monitoring thru headphones; though in a live situation it probably wouldn't be significant. Anyway, the Mosaic seems to sound clearer and quieter when the signal chain is guitar-->Mosaic-->Kemper as opposed to in the effects loop Stomp A position.
If anyone has any ideas how to make the pedal sound better in the loop, I'm open to suggestions.
