I want to quit smoking too. I had quit for six months, then restarted in November. Sick habit and I get nothing out of it. So difficult to quit, especially when you keep with "bad company". -

I quite about 17 years ago with the help of Nicoret gum, but I developed a habit for shewing gum afterwards. If you really want to quit, you can do it and with the help of some nicotine patch or gum for those insane cravings, it's doable.

I've tried gum and patches, but I find there's no substitute for quitting cold turkey. The problem is that I always run into some old friend or the other who "convinces" me to do it for old times sake. -

Yikes, I can't afford cancer.
Plus, the Singapore government has banned vaping because it would eat into the revenues they get from cigarettes haha

You and Master Sharry (who started the the smoking derail)
but getting back to topic, I'm a bit confused as to why this thing would take that long when Toast, editor created by someone using his free time, got so far without actual support from Kemper. What I'm saying is that if The maker of Toast would get access or knowledge of the internal parameters exclusive to the Kemper that aren't obvious or public, he could very well have the whole thing finished in relatively a short period, and anyway these editors usually remain in Beta status almost forever from what I've seen from most companies. I wonder if the engineer they had spoken with is, the same who made "Toast"

So is Toast the best one out there? I tried the one that was out last year but I lost track of its progress.

Anyway, what I've gathered is the editor wasn't any real priority up until the new delays with all the massive parameters. Now it seems to be high priority. I wasn't given a timetable, and given how coy Kemper is about ev-ery-thing, there's absolutely no telling when it might get released.
Back to talking about cigarettes... wait...

With a support from Kemper and working full time a skilled sw developer could make a decent editor in about half a year, I think. The estimated net effort I spent till yet developing Toaster is about 3-4 man-months. More than half of that time went to research.
And no I’m not the one Kemper spoken to.

Well when the editor comes out, all of those who adamantly denied the need of it will probably by the first and loudest cheerleaders! haha...

Just stopped by the Kemper booth at NAMM. Couldn't stay very long since I also exhibit for Hosa but I got to meet Matthew, the rep who sold me my amp and shake Christoph's hand.
Before I left I asked about an editor. Since they are a small outfit and the UI was designed to not need one they hadn't invested in it before, but with all the parameters for the new delays it's hopped to a high priority. They've apparently hired an engineer for it so it's only a matter of time.
I can't wait for an editor ; just simply so people stop asking for an editor...!! Then it'll be "when are the verbs getting the update treatment??" Haha.... Although all improvements/progression is of course welcomedNoticed something cool on an early page in this thread someone demo'ing using a LiquidFoot controller and able to use a FREEZE function via MIDI control -- is there any option for this in FW5.x with the KPA remote ??
*edit* awesome Avatar Hugo!
