Yes, the Drop is for transposing. We do a number of songs at a half step lower than our normal E flat tuning. I tried the Morpheus, and that was awful at tracking. The Kemper didn't track well enough for me either, plus I need to be able to switch through a lot of presets during these songs and didn't have enough open slots in all of them. I would also need presets just for drop tunings and the same presets for regular tuning so this pedal just makes everything easier. I've recorded tracks in the studio at 4 semitones down with no flutter or tracking issues and the high end in your tone stays fully intact. It's a great pedal.
Show us how your Remote will be used :)

Mine will be on a pedaltrain board along with a Rocktron Banshee, maybe a boss tuner (I just like having that as a backup) and a whirlwind ABY selector.

So I've no idea how to fit my new toys on to my board, which is suddenly a lot smaller than I remember....Cheers,

The GOOD news is you don't need all three tuners on it

Haha true! I've got a crush on the Polytune, though...

@sambrox: Peadalboards are always too small....
Like the polytune as well. -
I actually bought a smaller board when I knew I was getting the Remote

Its funny that the Banshee users are using smaller boards now. The one I posted is half the size of the G-System based pedal board I was using before the remote.
-
Yeah I'm thinking of ditching everything but the Polytune and the Strymon and getting a smaller power supply. Would've been nice to have 2 expression pedals though

Looks good Sam, shaping up very nice!!!

Darn it Paults! I was so content on having a simple "light footprint" controller setup and you go a launch a thread like this. These controller setups above are making me drool way to much. LOL
Now I gassing for a Banshee. -

Both rigs are on the exchange -

No both will be controlled by the right foot, this will just reduce the likelihood of me using wah instead of volume (hopefully anyway lol)

Here is my set up. Board can be taken out of the flight case to take up less of the stage which is what I do

+1. I used them on Bon Jovis "It´s my live" last summer at big open air venues in front 25.000 people. Nobody complained. I hope, they weren´t just to polite... -
