Thanks @ckemper great news!
High/Low Pass Filter either in Studio EQ or single FX block

Awesome! Thanks Jeff and thanks CK

That is awesome Christophe. As Jeff said in his first post, I also use the Kemper on bass, and I often put bass through a guitar amp. I then use a LPF and a HPF to get a really tight range of frequencies on the guitar amp. Then I crank the gain and I mix it in with the dry bass guitar; and you get really thick and lush bass tones this way.
Looking forward to playing with that!

Sounds like a useful change to me and more intuitive and obvious for not-so-professionals like me to use rather than wah filters.
Very impressed with the way this request was asked for and listened to. Great example of how good the kemper company and the community is here!! -
Thanks!

Just don't want to be impertinent, but when the new feature will be implied (thanks again to ckemper), an explanatory documentation/description would help to use it adequately.

I'd love to know that as well

This is great news. Have been using my kemper running thru my DAW and have gotten used to having lpf/hpf on my guitar tone. I just prefer the way it sounds. Was trying to figure out how to have this as part of my live setup short of having to take my whole pc to gigs. Sounds like this is a simpler solution.

Please explain deeper, what kind of description about the filters you will need.

Thanks Jeff for pointing this out and C. Kemper for implementing it. This feature is a must to sculpt your tone accurately, not only in the studio but also in live situations.

Have the LPF and HPF been added !! Was searching and can't find them in the effects !

Not yet!

I can see the utility in this. I could see myself using it.

Firstly this is a great idea, I think that this is a missing feature from the Kemper.
With regards to High and Low pass filters I usually like the options for a 0db (off), 6db, 12db and 24db per octave filter curve as well as the ability to set the desired frequency.
I think that it would be great to maybe have this as a new FX, blocking filter or something, but also have these added added as frequency bands to the Studio EQ and Output EQ modules (especially for the monitor output EQ) as well.
In fact taking that last thought, would it be possible to have the option of switching the two global EQs (Main Out and Monitor Out) between amp style EQ and Studio Style EQ? This would just add some extra options between the 2 outputs.
Cheers
Spence

yes!!
a high- and lowpass in the output menu+1

THANKS CK this will be amazingingly helpful

Therefor I will implement a LPF and HPF into the Studio EQ.
What a legend you are, CK! I've pushed for this myself in other threads, but didn't realise you'd already confirmed HPF / LPFs will be implemented.May I recommend they be made available at every point in the processing chain possible? I'm talking about at the (dry) input split to the digital DSP chain, all standard stomp slots, pre and post amp and cab modules and the usual and obviously-necessary outputs.
These options will, for very little coding effort and minuscule CPU overhead, help propel the KPA further into the rarified air it already owns and occupies, IMHO. Tweakers and anally-retentive propellor-heads will squeal with delight!
Thank you, oh Leader of the Gods of Kemper!

Are there still No High & LPF??
-
It looks very much like they'll be in the next FW update, Heller-boy (!).
Just a matter of time now... very little time.

Thank you for making these clips. You got me!
I usually use my ear to adjust the sound of an EQ.
I took your clip and matched the sound of the HPF in a minute with the Low Shelf set to about 70 Hz.
No significant difference.
Yours was set too high (very obvious). I have mentioned that it will not be at the same value as a HPF.But I am learning that mixing and adjusting by ear seems to be an oldschool approach, seen by your results and the multiple "+1".
Therefor I will implement a LPF and HPF into the Studio EQ.
Awesome!
