For playing live, you want to attenuate your reverb across all rigs/patches at once in order to compensate against the rooms natural sound. But then turn that back up when you get back home.

How about locking a wet reverb at home or an attenuated reverb live?

I actually think this is a good idea - locking is not the same. For instance, I may want a different reverb on my rhythm tones vs. lead. Locking makes me choose one vs the other for the whole gig.
The other option is to make a couple variations of ALL your live patches with the reverb reduced (or added) to various degrees. I'd save each as a backup, then figure out which worked best during sound check and load that one. All that work could be avoided with a global multiplier.

A good idea. Had something like this on my old GT-8, makes great sense to have a global control like this. We could fit it in the output settings.

I would find something like this most useful.
In a typical gig with about 30 songs, I often want to adjust reverb/delay globally. This of course can be done by locking them so that any adjustment affects all the rigs I use in that gig….probably about 10 or so.
However there are 2 or 3 songs where I absolutely want the reverb and delay to be what is set in the stored rig….eg for surf tunes. So I would have to unlock them before I selected the surf rigs. Once I want to go back, I have to reset rev'del to where they were before and lock them again. Quite a cumbersome process….unless someone knows a better way! -

It works only on the wet part..
and possibly with a global gate reverb parameter. -
Just getting familiar with artist mode and I noticed the reverb mix parameter. I believe this would allow us to tailor our reverb across multiple profiles for different venues. By default, it's set to 50%, which seems to indicate the standard setting, with options for raising or lowering reverb across profiles.
Looks like a great addition that's already made it past the drawing board.

Yes!! So happy for this. I love that this company keeps improving an already excellent design based on user feedback. In the 4 months or so I've had mine, 75% of the things I have found to be lacking have already been addressed. It is literally nearly 100% perfect to me

on this topic, I think a global version of the noise gate at the input stage would be a welcome addition too, for the same reason...different room, different volumes etc

Noise gate can be set to global. Just lock it and it will apply over all profiles.

So can reverb. That is not what I meant. You said you had a GT8? If it's anything like my old GT5, there was also a global noise gate, that worked the same as the global reverb. It was very handy indeed

It did and I used it, but on the other hand, the noise gate on the Kemper works much better and in a different way than the GT-8. I can't imagine how a global parameter would improve things in that respect. Any situations you think it would come in handy?
