Zapman, what speakers are you using ? is that an Atomic ?
Did you mean me from an older post or Booyah, that I quoted above? I'm actually using a Mesa Recto 2x12 or for FRFR M-Audio Bx8's.

In the rack on the bottom left there is a Sennheiser IEM G3, which gets its signal from the Kemper headphone output. On the right (that round little black box) is a Line6 G30 Guitar Wireless, which goes to the Kemper input...well, it isn't connected on this photo, as I'm usually playing with a cable at home
In the back of the rack there is a Furman AC210 Power Conditioner and a Cioks Big John Link to power both wireless systems. You can't really see those on that picture
They are pretty much identical, if you ignore the slight differences in their colour. But one obviously has a poweramp, so I would always prefer to take that one
Thanks, but the quote is stolen
Likewise, I have just opted for the powered rack over the un- ... For the same reason... What does the IEM do?
And what is your opinion of that Furman considering it only has 2 outlets? (are you UK or US or other?!) I was considering picking one of those up once but heard bad things about power "conditioners" like Furman/Samson etc. and that brands such as TrippLite are more reliable...

The Sennheiser unit is an In Ear Monitoring (IEM) transmitter. I have a belt pack receiver with my headphones, so I can hear myself as I mostly play without a cabinet live. It's also nice to have a "more me"-knob by turning the volume of my headphones up.

I like the Furman because it fits in there nicely because it has these little IEC 13/14 sockets. (I have the EU version.) I once used a normal power strip with overload protection, but those bulky power plugs and wall warts ate up so much space
I haven't spotted any failures in the last years. But I have to say that I'm not so picky about all those filters those units have in them. I wanted a voltage overload protection - that's it. For me buying those 500€+ units without real voltage regulation is like spending 100€+ for a power cable...but those are just my 2 cents
Here's a photo of how tight everything sits in the back. I really hope that the AxeFx will never sound better than the Kemper as I would have to rebuild my whole rack, which is just 33cm in depth

Gotta love those JEM's....wicked! I used to have a Floral JEM many years ago and stupidly sold it.
Awesome man!
Nice Joe Perry
I got one too. It´s my favorite AXE. The Mid Boost is a really nice feature

Yeah man. This JEM FP is my favorit. Its from 91. I bought it last year in desolat condition for only 1100€. The neck pick up was defect, the trmolo was more than dirty and the neck was also in horrible condition. I have changed the neck pick up to an evolution one, clean it all up and setted the neck. Voila, a Jem with outstandig sound. Some dings and dongs, but she is from 91, so it doesent matter (look at EVO from Steve Vai). I love her. She sounds much better and warmer than the other ones. I am looking for a Blue FP at this time.....May i try to check the new 2015 BF at the Music fair trade in Frankfurt in two weeks. Cost only 1450€. But i think nothing can top the old ones from the 90ths.

Agree. I just got a reissue UV70PWH and while its really nice it's not quite the same as the old originals.

@Eltzejupp - That's quite an admirable collection of goodies!
I've seen others with more, but not quite as "tasty" as what you've put together.
I had (2) wolfgang archtops before, which I let go and kinda miss them.
(Really liked their "butcherblock" necks as I call them)
Can't go wrong with monkey-grips either.
Glad you shared them.
Butcherblock is the right word. Not easy to play, but much fun.
Tennis Balls for scale
