Thanks Nicky /ALL

Murphy;s law coming up.Ash

EDIT: Thank you, Ash!
Use the preset-scrolling knob, Ash; it's in the foolproof instructions, mate:
Press a Stomp slot for a second if you haven’t already.
Select Wah as the Effect Type using the top-left-of-screen knob.
Browse the Presets using the top-right-of-screen knob.
All presets are prefixed with the letters “WW”, so they appear at the beginning of the Wah selections in the list.
I can't express it any more-simply than that, bud. Please report back in the other thread; I'm trying to get everyone to conduct these discussions in the appropriate place, which is not this thread; it's Don's after all and is not intended for this. See you here, matey:

Did you ever get a Morley Wah to profile? I have a standard Morley lying around if you still need it.

it's not Profiling I'm just matching the sound of a wah with the Wah stomp parameters.
A Morley would be a nice addition!
-
I think you mentioned in a previous comment how to send the files to let you copy it but I’mnot sure if that is stil what you need.
Let me know how to send you the Morley and I’ll do it over the weekend sometime.

I have a Vox Big Bad Wah. I reconditioned it using a Dunlop Hot Potz. I am new to the Kemper world and do not know how to get the parameters you mention, but let me know if I can help.prsgary and Monkey_Man like this.

I have a Roger Mayer wah that I could contribute. Not to be confused with the $$$$ vision wah, this is a Roger Mayer retrofit wah from the late 80s when he'd use a crybaby enclosure and replace the electronics with his own board.
If you already have the RM wah, let me know (I tried to browse the 19 pages for info but was difficult to navigate). Also, I'd like any info anyone has on how the settings relate to wah hardware. For example, I have the standard wah potentiometer in my RM wah right now (linear taper, I "think" 10k) but it (or any other crybaby wah I've owned) sounds the best (in my opinion) with an audio taper pot due to the wah effect being quick and controllable within a limited range of travel. I'd like to understand better how I can make tweaks to design my own dream wah.

from the first post
"hey guys.
here is a dl link for a wav file of white noise. https://www.dropbox.com/s/j0ik6kb20y9g7dn/white
or
https://www.dropbox.com/s/j0ik6kb20y9g7dn/white noise -6dB.wav?dl=0all you have to do is send the white noise through the wah twice - once in heel and once in the toe position.
record as wav please 24bit, 44.1kHz mono is perfect.Once you have done that, send me a pm with wah as subject and I'll send you me email where you can send the two necessary recordings."
thanks!

Hi @DonPetersen. Do you have the settings for the Hammett wah?
-
We have the 535Q Kirk Hammet by LiamThompson in the settings thread (and zip file), dahla. Not quite right for you, mate?
I take it you'd prefer the KH95, no?

Just to confirm those settings weren't to emulate his Dunlop signature wah more tuned by ear to sound like his 95 -2001 live wah tone from his Crybaby rack setup which was much more extreme in sweep than his signature pedal.

I sent Don the white noise files for the KH-95 a while back you know. It’s a few pages back in this thread actually.
And I still have the KH-95. So it’s not THAT important on my behalf. Still...
Edit: uh, can’t find my posts regarding the KH-95. I didn’t dream I posted about it, did I? I PM’d the files to Don september 2017 at least.

@LiamThompson, thank you for clarifying, mate.

Not in the other thread, dahla?
Hopefully you've still got the .WAV files so you don't have to create them again...

‘twas probably the other thread. Either way, the files are still in my dropbox.
