Hey everyone - Had the KPA a couple weeks now. I have an AFX2 as well. So many things I like about this box: the simplicity, the straightforward set-up of the rigs, the ability to actually twist dials, the ease of tweaking (or better yet the lack of necessity of it), the tones.....oh lordy did I mention the tones!

Welcome!

the KPA is actually rather complex, but it is very well-designed - you don't NEED to get into the complexity if you don't want it. the link in my sig has everything you need to know.

Welcome - I like my Kemper - a lot!

Hi and KEMPER forever!

Welcome! I had the Axe II also (owned it for about 18 months). I had both at the same time for a while but the Axe was just getting no action and I couldn't justify keeping it. The raw amp/cab tones on the Kemper seemed a bit better to me and I greatly prefer the workflow and simplicity of the Kemper, especially now that we have Rig Manager. Also didn't need all the deep effects editing and routing options the Axe offers.
Enjoy the Kemper!

Welcome - here are a lot of ex AxeFx users

Welcome, RLT. Ease of tone is one thing and good tone is another. Don't forget to tweak with the Kemper as well, it is far more powerful than just a profiling machine. You can create unique tones as well and that's what everyone keeps forgetting about this amazing tool. Look forward to seeing your posts around here.
