That's sad. I liked nakedzens posts.
I guess we'll have to go with the neighbour of the devil.

Hoooorrrrraaaayyyy!!!! Good to see you back.
Hannes, i did 72 Profiles today. Engl Fireball and my trusty JCM2000 TSL100. I used different mics and micing techniques to experiment and learn something new. I had an SM57, a Beta57, a Neumann U87 and an MXL R144 ribbon mic.
Some of them may suit your taste, distortion galore and a clarity that i haven't achieved until now. I'll start another thread and provide some more info later, need to re-tag and sort the new gems.[Blocked Image: http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800x600q90/607/3b9f.jpg]

Hell yeah man! Thanks a bunch for creating and sharing them! I just exported all rigs with Gain at 7+ onto my laptop. Gonna give them a serious try tomorrow! Can´t wait to fire up some ENGL magic!
Glad to see some death metal love in the Kemper forum!
I tried to replicate the newer cannibal corpse tones, and this is my first try (download link in the description):

We recorded a whole record using the Kemper for the guitars and bass. I fail to find which profile we used but it was one of the factory profiles which we tweaked (and EQ'd). Here's a playthru of one of the songs:

Hannes, be sure to try them all regardless of the gain indicated. They are all very distorted with good punch and clarity, even the ones that show up with gain at only 4-6. I was able to create some nasty tones by increasing gain and adding some eq.
Added a tweaked version: http://www.kemper-amps.com/api/downloadri…CZvUiG4oP?.kipr
Let me know how you like it.
Hahahaha good to know HELL! Tomorrow I´ll be back together with my kemper. I´ll make sure to try each and every rig! Thanks a bunch for making these man!
@Cadaver - awesome to know that The Doppler Effect was recorded with the KPA and especially with a stock profile. Love that CD! (Also that skeversen is a beauty!)

cool!
Added: Peavy Rockmaster #2 - Thumas, and FBall 15/16 - HELL-G
Thank you Hannes. We did some shredding with the FBall 16 at rehearsal today and it crushed. Cool you dig it.

thank you for creating and sharing those rigs man. Number 15 and 16 had just the right combination of mids and high end definition. had to turn up the channel volume a bit but other than that they work perfectly!
Thanks for the kind words. As always it's a pleasure to get some positive feedback.
I'm planning on another session where i want to profile blends of the amps i have available at my rehearsal room (Marshall JCM800, TSL100, JVM, Fireball, and an Orange of which i fail to remember its name) with the available cabs (ENGL V30, Orange what know then i and Marshall 1960) with Mics like SM and Beta 57, Neumann U87, Sennheiser e609, 421, 441 and some others lying around. As our bassplayer works as a professional backliner i'll try to make him get a 5150 and a Mesa Rectifier for a weekend if possible.
But this requires some modifications on the existing infrastructure as we did not plan to use more than 2 mics simultaneously when we build our recording booth. As soon all new wires are in place i'll give it a go.
Profiling warfare to come. And then adding pedals... I'm doomed.
If you could profile the living hell out of the 5150 and Recti with single and multi mics then I will be kindly sitting here and kissing your boots
Hope i'll get a grip on them amps, but the others will take a weekend or two anyway. So as i like to say: Good Profiles Come To Those Who Wait.
And i have to do some training and experimenting on mic placement. r_u_sirius gave some hints to me what to improve and i'm willing to check this out. For all recordings i've done / been involved in as the guitar sound guy so far there never has been enough time / budget to give moving mics a sirius amount of time. Always something like 'That's ok, we'll take that' (way before Profiler era).
And Hannes: no kissing boots necessary. It is like some ZEN thing listening to the UFO landing sounds of the profiling process 300 times a day. Wellness holiday, so to speak. (FLIX, need some wellness? )

I can not tell you how much I freakin love that UFO spacetoaster sound this beauty makes while profiling. It´s completely addicting

I´m playing the new 5152/5153 pack non-stop since I got it, it´s fantastic!
Anyone with experience with the seller "UberProfiles"? I think those are just about the only commercial profiles for high gain metal I haven't tried yet.
