Any recommendations for a good case for the toaster? I see that GC has a padded one, a bit pricey though. Suggestions appreciated.

I'm using this one. Sturdy as can be, but a bit bulky. More a road case than a hand bag. http://www.thomann.de/de/thon_amp_ca…ofiling_amp.htm

Hi,
I'd waited for ages for the official case, so hunted around and found that the ToughBuilt 16 inch Massive Mouth bag fits the toastrack perfectly: http://www.toughbuilt.co.uk/default.asp?p=50
Not a huge amount of extra room for cables / other equipment, but protects the unit really well.

Another option is to get a rack case and mount the Kemper to a rack shelf - drill a few holes and screw the feet through it into the toaster. If you have any other gear like a power conditioner or amp, you can throw them in the rack too.

Have a look at the Kemper Profiler Wiki wiKPA:Profiler Accessories
Feel free to update the wiKPA if you find more useful bags or cases. -
I have had the official carrying case on order for months and have been told not to expect it before January, so went to a drum store today and bought a Stagg drum pedal case for the Kemper, a very good fit and only £20, well worth checking out.

I have been trying to get the official case since the middle of September and they are still back ordered in all the major stores in the U.S...... KPA is a hot commodity.

Just Google "kemper kpa bag" and you'll get a number of ideas.
Personally, I went with a DOLICA GS-350 (about $80).
If you want a hard-shell case, this looks like an economical solution: Harbor Freight Tool Case

For the record: a shelf-mounted KPA-head requires 5U.
I've got mine mounted on a shelf in a shallow 6U effects-rack along with a L6 relay G90 wireless receiver. A couple home-made black-painted aluminium panels fill in the gaps on either side of the unit. I'm working on a solution to offset the KPA to one side and a custom bracket to mount my Sennheiser IEM-transmitter vertically alongside it. That will give me the ultimate compact rig for gigs where I have access to a dedicated monitor-feed that I can control myself, and thus don't need to bring my own speakers for the backline.

I'd go for the Namba bag , i've got one that i use when i fly with the Kemper , 8kg in total so i can carry it on the plane with me and it's rock solid.
For the "regular" use i've got a 6U rack , i've removed the rubber feet of the Kemper and mounted it on a rack-shelve with holes ( i bought that on amazon for 15€ , it's under "server items" ) and i've got room also for the power amp.. i found this solution more useful than the thon case because you can leave all your cables plugged already..
