Hi, Andy! What a guitar you use for this demo? For example for Selmer Constilation 14 – 1963 – 4 Profiles and for WEM ER 100 1968 – 6 Profiles?
( if You use different guitars) -
They are played by the awesome Leroy Miller, he uses a strat. afaik. thats all he used
-
Great demo's they sound fantastic. Are they straight out of the box??
Just loving the Wem Westminster. I'm going have to get the pack once I'm back in employment!

Attention:
Its been brought to my attention that the profiles are too loud for some people.
This is because the "X" slot contains a Volume boost of a few DB's that can clip on some higher output guitars. For this reason, I'll go ahead and unify every ampfactory profile to date to rectify this issue, people can re-download at any time if they wish too, but gibe me a few days yet as it will take me a while to do.
-
Hey Andy,
By unify, do you mean your going to be setting the volume of the X block to 0.0 for all the rigs? Or are you just going to reduce the volume for those rigs that you've been told are clipping?
Cheers,

I'll be disabling the X slot volume boost. - seems I left this "enabled" on all profiles, so for some it clips with this engaged.
so I'll just be turning it off and re-saving. -
Is everybody too lazy to do it on their own? LOL! The next step is that you will have to upload the profiles on every unit personally....
-
It's all about first impressions- so I can understand Andy.
For auditioning purpose it would be sufficient to switch off X and keep the thing locked at first, though. -
Hey Andy
I mentioned to you in an email recently how nice the vibe sounds on some of these clips. When I first heard it I swore it would have been from a separate pedal. Any chance you could share the exact settings with us. I've tried before to get a good vibe sound like this using the onboard effects and couldn't come close to the warble and pulse that I was trying to get to without heading into to phasey or too chorus-ish
If you didn't set that effect up could you confirm with Mr. Miller what his settings were, assuming that these were done using Kemper on board effects and not a pedal. In particular I'm talking about 2:26 on the Gilmour Hiwatt and 2:04 of the Selmer Constilation clips.
Thank you!

Thank for the clarification Andy.

Ok here you go. Try this you will enjoy it.
For this to work correctly you need a bit of extra gain, as thats the kind of point in this to get that type of tone. (needs to be trebbleboosted)
So Im using 3 Stomp slots B, C & D setup with an already saturated amp, (so try a full or cranked profile)Stomp B (Trebble booster) - Volume +2.0, Tone - 3.0 (set this where you want obv)
StompC (PhaserVibe) -Rate 0.53 Depth, 8.9, Manual 1.6, Feedback 34% Peak spread +1.9 & Stages = 2
StompD (Tremelo) (optional) - I used this to back up the vibe to give more cut of depth, but you dont have too. - Rate, 4.2, Depth 5.2, crossover 20.6
Throw those in the stomps section and enjoy the fun!

Thanks for sharing this - can't wait to try it out.

Sorry - Didn't mean to derail this thread with my inquiry on the vibe tone on the clips...
Tried it out yesterday on Andy's Hendrix profile in the new Factory Presets/also on his website. Very fun. I was struggling to get close to the right sound on my own so "Thanks" for sharing how you got there by using a combination of effects.
A while ago I set up a fuzz with very, very low settings so I dropped that in slot 1 and saved the whole stomps section (which I've never done before). Putting the fuzz into the equation causes me to tweak things elsewhere (was getting too much sizzle/high end) but I'm getting there. Fun stuff.
Looking forward to hearing more clips of Pack 4. So far so good!
Thanks again Andy!

I have noticed Andy's rigs being louder than many, but never experience clipping.
