Wondering if I should trade my powerhead for a new powerhead. Anyone know? If not is there a plan to add?
Do currently shipped powered head (or rack) have the new-ish true impedance circuit in them?

No, the hardware has not changed and is not expected to.

Asmfar as I am aware the only hardware related change to Head/Rack was the addition of the ability to act as slave with SPDIF a few years ago. Older units like min always have to be master.
