Hello all,

I’m getting ready to buy a Laptop so I can utilize Rig Manager. I have been told to get at something with at least 16 GB Ram. I’m thinking it should probably be Windows 11 too. Do I need to avoid ones that have the S mode?

I would suggest posing that question directly to the kemper team in a support ticket to be 100% sure as they would know the bare minimum OS specs.

S is just a lame Safety mode almost like the old Safe Mode boot up option on Windows. Just turn it off or buy one without it.

RM needs almost nothing to run so choose based on what other applications you plan to run as they will almost certainly be more power hungry than RM

Windows S Mode only allows apps from the Microsoft App Store. You won't be able to install Rig Manager, since it is not distributed via the Microsoft App Store.
