I'm posting this here as I don't want to run afoul of the forum rules. I've uploaded a set of JVM410H Profiles that are freeto the Rig Exchange. But my studio is a for profit mix studio, and therefore commercial. I'm hoping that this isn't an issue. (Kemper moderators, please move or delete if necessary).
Profiled amp speaker combination:
- 2007 JVM410H with
- Shuguang preamp tubes
- Svetlana Winged C Power tubes (essentially the holy grail of JVM tubes)
- 2007 Marshall JCM800 1960A
The profiles were recorded using the following signal chain:
- Sure SM57 set at 30cm from cone center on axis
- Sennheiser e906 set at 30 cm from cone center on axis
- sent to Focusrite Red 4 Pre with air enabled
- Using Pro tools Ultimate DAW for rebalance and mix
- Return via line output from Red 4Pre to Kemper Profiler Stage
- Signal checked for correct phase relationship prior to profiling
The guitar used:
- custom built 1986 Warmoth Soloist
- Alder Body
- Maple Neck
- Original Floyd Rose
- Seymour Duncan TB-4 "JB" bridge pickup only
EQ set at 12 o'clock on all positions (Bass, Mids, Treb) on the amp so that you can adjust EQ to your liking and get a favorable result. Each channel and subsetting (green, orange & red) was profiled. All profiles start with "H.Mars" for easy search.
