Mine has done that for years.
Unpowered toaster through amp and speaker, or straight to powered FRFR
My powered rack always does it, I turn master volume down before turning off to minimise it
Same here and this is actually something very annoying, as I don't always remember to mute it on my mixer. None of my keyboards is doing that, so definitely this is something that could be addressed.
Standard audio-engineering practice is to power up from sources->destinations and down from destinations->sources.
Bear in mind that this has been the norm throughout the industry and in multi-gazillion-dollar studios forever, so even at those price points nobody risks power-ups or downs in the wrong order; it's just not "pro" and peeps will think you're mad if you do it.
I say all this 'cause it's sobering to realise that if pros with uber-expensive gear and budgets don't do it, why on earth would you take those very-same risks with your "cheap" gear, limited budget and slow repair turnarounds?
What Monkey_Man said ... it's not rocket science!
Yeah, 100% true - it is not a rocket science - yet happens due to human error (what can you do about it?)... And since there is audio equipment (Yamaha keyboards, for instance) which solved this problem it would be a welcome addition to Profiler, IMHO. I realize that this might be happening on hardware level and might not be fixable in software for current units.
Turn off the power amp in settings and it goes away. The pop is normal operation so I've been told. You should also be hearing a click on startup and shutdown of the power amp relay. All normal.
