Attached a picture for reference. I play through Garageband often and was messing around and found a stock preset I tweaked a bit and had some real fun with with my Fender HM Strat. Normally, Im a Marshall guy, but I believe this is a Vox in this picture? I've never played around with Vox's so would love to hear some solid Vox preset ideas or some boutique Vox amps to try to match this tone. I want to start playing with different amps and try different voicings for fun. I know Vox is a completely different voicing than Marshall but I was able to get a solid lead tone out of this and rip it up. Never though about using TWO treble boosters lol.

You use whatever you can to get "your" tone. Funny thing about trying out different amps to define your sound... I have about 20 profiles with different amp rigs and they all have basically the same stomps and effects. The only difference is I can switch my sound from warmer to brighter by just selecting a different profile. This tells me "I have found my tone"! The long search is over!

Search on Rig Exchange for Vox AC30’s.
Then search for a Silver bulldog cab. There’s definitely at least one by a chap called Sam. Not near the Rig manager at the mo.
Marrying that cab with most AC30 Profiles is like switching a light on. It’s bright and brilliant especially with the big reverbs and crystal delays.
just something a bit different to try out!Happy Friday!

Any Vox is going to work fine. You basically only have two models to worry about AC30 and its little brother AC15. AC30 with treble booster =Brian May or Rory Gallagher ??? You can’t go wrong there ?

Search Rig Exchange for Morgan AC20 by rmpacheco... one of the best profiles period... not a VOX, but very “VOXY”?

I don’t think you even need to search rig exchange any more. I believe it was so popular that it got added to the factory content.

I agree... I have that profile and a few others from them, both purchased and free (the offer free content all the time and their free pack is quite good).
