Wah configuation

Well: I have been trying to configure a wah in my Kemper Stage using the mission kemper expression pedal

I can get the pedal to activate the wah (it's visible in rig manager), but I can't get the wah to behave at all like a wah pedal

when i select it, it changes the tone and then continues to act like a volume pedal.

If someone can set me straight, I'd be eternally grateful.

Have you set the input of expression pedal like wah in System Settings?

Ha ve you checked "Wah to volume" setting?

In system settings - you have to set the pedal type as Wah. It won't work if it's set to volume. In the pedal links (I forget which page this is in settings), check the soft button for Wah>Volume.

Perhaps the expression pedal is effectively set up as a wah pedal but appears to control volume because the wah settings are so extreme. Open the effect module including the wah effect, trun the BROWSE knob and load one of the wah presets e. g. "Cry".
