I am wondering, has any amp manufacturers created professional profiles of their amps? Seems like a perfect group to profit from the digital era since they would be best qualified to ensure that the best representation of their amps is out there. I know I for one would jump on a pack that has Mike Seldano's or Paul Reed Smith's or Randall Smith's official approval on them.

Now that is very good to know. I'll have to do some googling.

Victory sells profiles of their amps in their shop, e.g. the Kraken.
And actually I am waiting for more amp manufacturers who do not build series of their amps any more but start selling profiles of their prototypes instead. Found one or two on the net with that approach.

Benson Amps has own Profiles

Fortin did some of the Meshuggah amp that I quite enjoy.
One of the best for high gains has been Powered by Omega. I have both packs and I enjoy the hell out of them, and they may become core to my tones (I purchased mine back when the Granophyre was still called the Iridium) -

Ok, now that I have had the chance to play with them a little bit, wow the Victory profiles are amazing. Damn I would love to see all the big boy companies get on board with this.

Fortin Amps released their official ones through Replicant Audio, I believe. They are next on my "to buy" list because the demos sounded INCREDIBLE. I believe that Trivium is also using these on their latest tour.
