I often need to invert the phase of the monitor out. It always depends on the P.A. setup and monitor/speaker placement.
It would be great to be able to invert the phase directly from the KPA.

That’s something I’ve never needed to do. Can you give an example of when you would need to do that?
This is only relevant if you hear a lot from FOH.
For example if the monitor and FOH speakers point in opposite directions there can be phase cancellations. The mixed sound your hear from the FOH speakers and monitors might feel weird and sound hollow.
If the monitoring system is set up properly it should already be in-phase...but very often it is not.
It really depends on many factors. But if it sounds weird I always ask the engineer to flip the phase of the monitor signal. very often that resolves the issue.
Thank you for the explanation.

This is something that I would like. I regularly use a cabinet behind me and a wedge in front and depending on their proximity to each other I sometimes get an odd phase cancellation.
It's a similar situation to using an acoustic guitar with a monitor wedge. The phase switch on the guitar alters the sound perceived considerably.
Yes, please! It would be nice to have the option on all the outputs, including the headphone outs.
My example would be using in-ears with the Kemper. I have a system that allows me to mix in my instrument to a mix I'm getting from FOH. I use the KPA headphone out for that purpose because I can link it to the output knob for easy control. Also I can use Space on that output only. The problem occurs when the mix I'm getting from FOH has me already in it, like if I'm sharing a mix with someone else - sometimes my signal is out of phase with itself, and as I turn it up in my ears it gets squishy and thin.
But in any situation where you're sending signals to more than one place, a polarity switch would be a nice option!
