It took me 6 months, to put enough money on the side and dream about it. And I wont go to holiday this summer but ...I'll get something more important to me, than sand and beach and sun... my Kemper. I'll get it in two or three weeks . That's cool. I am very happy !!!
FINALLY... I ordered my Kemper yesterday ;-) I'm so happy !!!

Congratulations, hope that you will still have a few days of vacation.....

I already know that I will order many profiler sounds coz I've been listening to all the profiler demo that exist since 6 months...(Micheal Britt and etc all of them I got a list here) I love them all But I wonder guys : should I start by reading and study the manual first??? Thanks

LOL the joke is easy but I said to my girlfriend : No camper only Kemper! (And I am french so maybe its not that funny ) Anyway... My girlfriend probably won't see me much for a month (or two). LOL thats how it's gonna be... sorry babe LOL.

Yes "The basics" in the box or in PDF and the videos on Youtube of Kemper. https://youtu.be/gAOw_spEz4A
you must to test the rigs free on RigExchange, there are terrible sounds !
it's been 3 weeks that I test that the amp section only ... I will see the effects later
And Update Profiler too contains new rigs and DELAY.FR : Bienvenue

I agree with Juluxx - disable the FX slots and lock them. FX will only serve to distract you if you want to audition many amps.
But I wonder guys : should I start by reading and study the manual first???
Only if you want everyone on the forum to love and admire you. Oh how we wish everyone would do this; the main reference manual is super-comprehensive and is chock-full of tips and insights.

I was like you. Saved up the first time around, the car broke down so I was back to square one. lol
-
Congrats!!!
I'm still saving for one. I've got some gear to unload to help fund it though. Just got to sell stuff i'm not using. -

Same here, except it was my entire music setup, and disasters a lot worse than a car breaking down.
Almost finished 3rd rebuild now... 24 years after my last demo!
The point is, as you've no doubt discovered, that we musicians don't give up on our passion for music making overall, and certain pieces of kit specifically. If I lost my Kemper somehow, I'd be prepared to sell any other gear I have (except my Opal monitors 'cause they're so-damned hard to come by) in order to be able to replace it pronto.

You're right, the main reference manual is better but....step by step : AMP and REV at first.
(with chapters of manual in Google translate )
The best explanation of COMP for exemple, is in Wikipedia or web or Youtube, and after, use your understanding with the K mper. -
If I had one piece of advice, (sincerely,) do not purchase a whole bunch of profiles, lock yourself down for eg : a month that you will not buy anything ... and just learn how to work and play the profiles that are already in the unit, I bought way too many profile packs at the beginning and I use very very few of them now so it was a complete waste of money…

I was sure of that... thanks.

Wait a minute, you say you're already happy because you bought one? Pfft, wait until you have it in your hands and learn how to dial it in. Then you'll know what happiness is.

OOOPSSS... I already did hahahahaha (I am out of control now, I waited too long, many months,to get it, listening to the demos and dreaming about it saying ''one day I'll get that sound'' So I think I will buy and download everything free or not , and pick the best, I am out of control on adrenaline now !!!! LOL
