Just turn your monitors up or Kabinet and walk over to it and play high gain. All the feedback you want, or don't want.
I play in ears (i.e. no cab), so that won't work.

I use all FX in the Kemper except for drive pedals and boost. I run a TC Electronic Spark Booster, Wampler Hot Wired V.2 and Sparkle Drive into the Distortion Loop of the Kemper after the compressor.
We haven't seen any beta testing yet so I'm guessing it won't be soon. Looking forward to it but won't complain if it takes a while for a free update.
What bass amp tone stacks would people want?
Is there a list of iconic models?
Well, the Bassman is already in there - although it's mostly used for guitar nowadays. Ampeg, Markbass, Aguilar and the Fender Rumble would be some models I'd love to see.
I tried both ASIO4ALL & WASAPI and there"s no signal passing thru. I'm using the free version of Cakewalk by Bandlab (which is no longer supported). I'll probably try Studio One or some other DAW when I get a chance.
Hey all,
The title pretty much explains it. Running my send to the input of the pedal and return to the output. No signal is passing through all of a sudden. Are there any settings in the output section that could affect it? I had been experimenting with some settings for recording and might've done something there. That's around the time it stopped working for me. I am currently running the latest OS version.
Thanks in advance.
Sinon en as tu d'autres a me conseiller ?
Je n'utilise pas d'enceintes car j'utilise des écouteurs intra-auriculaires pour live et des moniteurs de studio à la maison. Désolé.
Bonjour Laurent,
Tu peux brancher comme suivant:
Enceinte -> 'MONITOR OUT'

Join the club. It's been a hassle but the problem is on the DAW's side for me.
As an occasional bass player, I would love to see a tone stack for bass on the Kemper..
Yep, I used the the UI-16 in the past. I remember it being HTML-based but it worked well.
Display MoreI play quite a few festivals...
Ignore any DI box.
At most festivals they have cabs on stage mic'ed up. I just unplug the mic and plug the XLR straight into the KPA. The sound engineer will sort that anyway as most are very used to direct solutions ( Helix, Kemper etc.).
The principles are the same as for your mixer, so plug and play!
The only comment I would say is sound checks are very limited at festivals so think about your IEM's and balancing with on stage monitors. Most turnaround are circa 15 mins.... I always run a cab on stage but I have the powerrack for that reason so you just need to make sure you are happy with the sound balance, especially as you will have refined this over 3 years at the current venue. Therefore just be prepared to set your levels quickly ( so thats a point for the rest of the band, not just you).
Hope that helps...
IEMs won't be an issue. The soundman uses Presonus so we can use the QMix app for our own mixes.
Hey all,
I've been gigging the same venue with the Kemper for the past 3 years and love it. I usually run directly to the mixer since it's literally right next to me.
I have an upcoming festival where I'll more than likely need to run through a DI on stage. Anything I should be considering when doing this? Any potential issues or danger of damaging anything? I have the unpowered toaster with IEMS, so no cabs.
Thanks,
-Jagg.
For me, consistancy means: I don't have to reposition mics every night. The knobs are always at the same position and I just have to make minor corrections (if any). I don't have to worry about a lot of maintaining and it's so much lighter.
It's a great starting point and very close to "turn on and just play". The rest can be done at the mixer, for example.

Greetings all,
I've been in the market for a light FRFR cab for my unpowered toaster. Just wondering if anyone has tried the GR Bass AT G112A (see link below)?
https://www.grguitar.com/portfolio/at-g112a/
From videos I've heard it seems to sound pretty good. It's about $1,500.00 where I live and I'll have to order it in as it's not stocked. The kicker is that it only weighs 13 lbs which my back would certainly be thankful for.
-Jagg.
I've been having issues as well with performances not saving. Starting to look at other options as I need something reliable - even though it might not sound as good.
My picks are Cakewalk for PC & Logic for Mac.
I hear ya!! Hahaha
I can't hear any of you because I am playing LOUD!
