It would be great to be able to set the wah and transpose functions globally, or per rig, without using a stomp slot. Similar to the noise gate or input sensitivity. Especially when running complex rigs in an intensive live situation.
Wah and Transpose on input section.

And maybe I missed it, but is there a way to change the Transpose pitch with some sort of up/down button on the Remote?

I like the improvement with the new 5.5 beta firmware (added: Transpose in the Rig Settings). This setting as a global parameter in the input block would be even better!

So obvious! Global in the inputsection makes max sense

wah in input section would also be great but for me the wah to vol function has to be there too because i use a mission ep1 gn for it and when i press the switch I use it as a volume pedal. I set it in every of my rigs and unfortunately it needs a stompslot

I reckon the wah's the Holy Grail to have here, Frank.
I mean, for most peeps the wah would be chewing up a slot in most Rigs, if not all of them, as is the case for me where I've got it locked in slot 1.

Yea, I lost two slots. Slot one is a gate, I only use the stomp gate. Slot two is the wah

+1 for wah and gate in the Rig Settings
The position of the gate should be selectable, before slot one, after slot 4 or before X -
have you ever tried to place a green scream before your Wah while using an overdriven amp?
What about compressors - I usually place them before the Wah.
IMHO the "Wah using a stomp block" behavior ist just perfect as it is, cause it opens up way more possibilites. -

Thinking a step further, it should not be very hard to program the "wah in rig setting" to be placed at any place in the signal chain -

Wouldn't this be limiting. What if you only use it for the odd part in a song and it has to be per rig?

I think the new per rig option is one thing you can use and additional global would be also fine. No limits.
I guess, if a band uses a half step down, they often play the complete set a half step down. So I can set everything to normal level and when necessary two clicks in the input section and a half step down is done for a performances. I I dont need it any longer, two clicks and back to normal.

Exactly, Oh Sirius One. Thanks for answering Rene, mate; I didn't want him to think he'd be left out in the cold, so to speak.
