What do you think the new update will be

I could imagine a rig pack of acoustic guitar amps.
I think the next major update will be related to reverbs. No basis for my guess

I love how they keep it under wraps so well and have us guessing!
The anticipation is a bit killer but at the same time exciting, ya know!
My guess is since they are looking for a programmer that it'll be software based such as an editor or the like.
-
That's a big omission on my part but I have an excuse as I never viewed an editor to be an update, always thought it was a given.

Yeah, I agree with Michael, as they just added the acoustic guitar tag in the last firmware then it would make sense that they want to drop a new rig pack of acoustic guitar amps rather than any new firmware. My best guess is I think firmware going forward is going to just be bug fixes although just maybe a few iterations into the future we’ll see reverbs a they were mentioned a few years back as a target.

This acoustic thing is only a tag. Acoustic pack as an update? Bert has done one. Plug in an acoustic and it works, that's nothing new. Beautiful sounds with an acoustic guitar.
I hope for reverbs and an editor. Editor is number on for me ( hoping for a cab managemt inside) because i am tired of scrolling to presets and cabs.
Cheers

my guess is reverbs, editor and maybe something like studio eq as a replacement option for both amp stack and output eq.
Maybe even a stomp button mode for the remote adding in 5 buttons to turn things on/off/momentary etc.I wouldn't be surprised if they added some kind of "depth" and "resonance" parameter to the amp stack or cab block. If the profile can add gain to amps that only have so much, it would also make sense to add these too.

+1 Frank !! A big sky kinda reverb would be awesome

First week with a Kemper. Reverbs not as bad as expected; the straight-forward hall (which is my usual go-to) does the job for me, makes the amps sound nice and open.
Thought less of the mods until I played around with them this morning. Rotary/phaser/chorus all sound pretty good actually; there's a mix dial and they stack well.
I like the feedback suppressor/notch filter idea a lot.
-
If they are going with more acoustic profiles, how about a dedicated feedback suppressor/notch filter.
-
I'm genuinely suspecting that we're done with anything major. I appreciate that announcing that they're finished is as good as suicide but I'm just not convinced that there's something major around the corner.

I desperately hope that is not the case. The KPA is an amazing tool, but standing still is as good as death in this environment. Like so many, I'm holding out hope for an editor.

@ winter NAMM 2016 CK mentioned several really cool things he was working on. He was already well along with the reverbs, and it sounded like he would have them out before now. So they are definitely coming. Two other things are on many wishlists. A few other things will be surprising.
He doesn't like to emulate what other people have already done....he likes to approach familiar solutions/ideas from totally different directions.
I have no current information, but I think that 2018 will be a fun year for Kemper owners.

About the only major thing I can think of is the reverbs, though I have often wondered if the holdup on them is trying to get them to be really good without burning up too much processing power. Reverbs can be CPU hogs.

I could think of overdrive/boost/distortion pedals. The reverbs would be welcome too. -

I always forget about the dist/od/boost section even though I often try to make best use of them in different preset scenarios.
I'm so hung up on reverbs that I kinda neglect the dist stomps, it makes me feel kinda bad lol

Playing through two profiles.
Not likely, but a man can wish!
-
Oh if they could do with the Reverbs what they did with the Delays.... that would be a home run!
