I made some speaker measurements today and i must say nothing suprising happened
I used a Felleretta Cab with a openback and a Celestion seventy80 Speakerso yeah but it was a bit different from the measurements of celestions ...
Sadly in our unechoic Chamber were the ground plates installed so that wasn't the optimum and the build up in low end is just because
the room wasn't fully sealed ...these were just tests for the measurements in two weeks so yeah ...
i have the results as a .mat file mabe it is possible to convert it to a .wav so you guys can use it as a IRthe micing is no closemicing like guitarists would do but 1.5m away otherwise you can have phase issues and
we use a high end brüel & kjaer measurement mic that is also calibrated before every use so yeah ... the results and some pictures are below
maybe you care about stuff like this.have fun guys
(let's hope i can supply you with one or two .wav i can't promise anything right now sadly )

Here is a soundsample of one of my Soldano profiles ...

That's some heavy dirt right there.
A pickup truck and backhoe would come in handy, methinks.

haha thanks i made profiles with different mastervolume settings so there are also tighter cleaner versions of the same profile

Hello Bommel,
Thank you for all the wonderful profiles, and most importantly your time and generosity in sharing to this community.
I love the pic of the anechoic chamber. Great stuff.
I have been following this thread, but I can't recall the answer to this question...
Have you ever uploaded pics of your amp collection? I realize that some amps may come and go, or that you have borrowed temporarily for profiling purposes. However, I imagine you have quite a selection of permanent amps that occupy your stable. LOL, do you have a proverbial "wall of amps" that would make a great photo op? That would be great image to share, if possible.
Keep up the great work, which is much appreciated.
Cheers,
John -
Thank you so much @Tritium ! I'm glad you care about my work
about the amp collection ...
my only amp right now is the victory kraken because it is small enough to gig with it ... within the last two years i sold so many amps ... now that i think of it it is pretty sad
the amp i miss the most is the vetta and the ZT ... man that is such an underrated amp.
the engl invader was mine, the zt amp, all of the pedals i profiled, the tonedexter, the helix i profiled wasn't mine but i bought one shortly after :D, the vetta was mine, the grandmeister
... and some more, i would have to look that up xD. But yeah some of the amps were borrowed from close friends and bands that i have recorded and they were okay with me sharing the soundsi posted some of the amps on my instagram but i never built a wall ... it was always like "this amp stays in this practise room this amp stays at home and so on"
and i have a rack here with a torpedo live so evertime when i need a head i put it on top of my rack.I regret somuch selling my laney amps before i had the chance of profiling them having a profile of a sold amp makes it hurt a bit less
but more and more money goes into my pedalboard right now so this seems to stay longer i think and tbh i think pedals
and recording gear make much more of a difference in the end results then having much more amps -

Thanks so much @Tritium ! I did my very best to make a snapshot of every important gain/mastervolume setting
to make it as versatile as possible I glad someone likes it -
Thomas, just checked out Hopefully Shivering - OMG, that is fantastic moody, heavy, melancholy, all in the same song. I'll be checking out the rest of your stuff.
Are the SLO profiles a new addition? I believe I've downloaded the zip file, probably 5 or 6 times, based on your posted additions.
Thanks for your generosity!

Thank you so much @madmarcus1960 sadly we're not active right now with Apocryphal but if you care you can have the double album right here
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/egsfv3w2wqi…u6Dl4k_tFa?dl=0Yes they are new i made some years ago but they we're studio profiles and not enough
so i made new ones D.I. with every gain and mastervolume setting. And now they are my main profiles. Thanks for caring about my stuff marcus

Thanks, I'll check it out.

it happened !!!
Today i could make IRs in our Anechoic chamber
I used:
A Brüel and Kjaer measurement mic
Sennheiser Evo 900
Shure Sm57I used also a
Felleretta cab, 1x12 halfopened.
Celestion Seventy80 speakerI made linearized duplicates, that should traslate very well on all systems due to their more linear frequency response.
I used Blend IR so the resulting file is a .tur so if you have "wall of sound(free)" or other two notes product you should be able to use them.
I will also make some profiles with these cabs.SO here they are!

Thanks - With the cabmaker it is easy to create .kipr kemper Cabs-

Yeah, but he hasn't made the necessary WAV files yet, Harry.
He'll do it 'though; I have faith in him.
