A MIDI Captain(with a special KPP FW) 10 adds 5 presets and 5 CCs and displays the rig name. Just another option

Matt, what's next, I've bought every 2.0 pack except the Bassman, as I buy multiples to get the "TONE" code to work?
Thanks
-
most people are adding 2.0 to the filename. Can't wait to try them
-
Matt, yours are the only V2s worth purchasing!

You're entitled to your opinion, but the code from the original III didn't survive a 1.5years prior to a full rewrite. Go on the Fractal forum and ask if you want details.
As always, use what sounds good to you, there are no wrong choices.
FYI, I appreciate you for all your generosity you've shown us free your free profiles, so mad respect. We just disagree. Time to share a drink and get over it!

I may be mistaken, but the KPP is a Mk2 product. It was never marketed that way, but was always planned to be able to create v2 profiles, once the FW was released.

as far as i am aware that does not matter much, except resolution, cpu power, some feature updates, preset updates and fine tuning the axe fx is pretty much the same since the first generation. It still has the same navigation etc. and i mean, the critique only got worse. even bigger, the same clunky control scheme etc.
100% incorrect. I own A3 and KPP. I've had the A3 for 5 years in which I've had over 25 FW updates including periodic rewrites of the amps, drive, FX as Cliff has found ways to make his version of SPICE react true to the deviced schematics.
I have no problem with someone having a differing opinion based on facts, but in this case, they're assumptions. The objective part to your argument about ergomics is fair. It's a complicated device, sometimes overwhelming(nerd alert), but soundwise, algorithmically if you will, not even close.
My A3 is nowhere close to being the same device today that I purchased years ago, it's so much better.

Reverb has plenty of "new" sellers. Most onlines presence has a Reverb store. I've bought quite a few brand new items off Reverb. So Top 10 new/old, combined, what does it actually mean.

Fractal(Cliff) said in all probability NAM would be an option on the next generation. It's not a stupid question.
I don't see Kemper adding it, but it has kicked off a drive for NAM compatibility, even the CHI brands are coming out with products that do not truncate the NAM files as well as give you 2 NAM slots. (Drive + Amp).
For all the flaming Kemper sometimes gets, the beauty isn't necessarily the 100% accuracy, but how you can beyond what the original amp could sound like based on its limitations. The adjustments like Clarity, Definition, etc allow you to create your sound, not depend on how accurate it is to amp that it was used for the profile.
I feel lucky to have never owned any high profile amps. It allows me to work on my sound, not the accuracy. TETO, JMHO

Matt, how many more are coming this week.? I have bought them all so far, but but 2 at a time, minimum, to get the discount.

Any Fenders, like a Bassman or Super Reverb. Even a Marshall JTM45 coming in 2.0? Thanks
-
the JEL50 is killer!

purchased, thanks for content from someone that doesn't make his own. Appreciated!

Mike inferred that he was used to the compression the MKI created naturally as it's character. Compression helps me get the playing feel I prefer. He did mention MKII feeling clearer and less compressed. I believe this is what he meant.

the new RM and FW, just released, fixed the issue

After the weekend, I work Fri-sun. Be in touch Monday 3/17/26. Kool?

If I create a sub folder for a specific pack/amp, under a folder name for the creator. Ex, Matt Fig, LRS, ToneJunkie, etc, the new folder created for the pack/amp also adds a sub pack folder to the original sub pack folder. The RM hangs up(greys out) and eventually crashes to the desktop. Windows 11. The older version, pre V2 never gave me issues with folder management.
If I restart the RM, I can delete the 2nd sub folder, leaving the one I intended to create.
This was repeatable, attempting to create folders for new V2 profile packs.
