At least with Liquid Profiles you can see that the Tone Stack has been changed from Generic in RM. Hopefully there will be more than relying on naming convention in the file.

Really needs to be a way to filter profiles based upon a MK I versus Mk II tag in Rig Manager. Same for me liquid profiles (but that ship has sailed).
Or was the in OP asking if the improvements would be easy to hear and spot.
Could be either, I read it as looking at file names.
I'm sure the ship has sailed in development, but having a icon light up on the screen, similar to when a surround sound receiver sees a Dolby or DTS signal to differentiate the resolution of MK 1 vs MK 2.
As far as Library creation in Rig Manager, adding info tot he filename in some way would be easiest. If you're just listening, I would hope it would be obvious, which is which.

Creators started adding LP as a prefix to liquid profiles when they came out. I suspect adding MK 2 or some variant as a pre of suffix to the file name is a start. It's also possibile that the extention, aka .krig, may change or not.
We'll just have to waiti until that info is released.

A proper press release would not leave current owners and prospective upgraders/purchasers to seek the most basic relevant information to a major new product release in YOUR forum.

Of course it has a USB slot on the back. That's how I updated my Player.

I can confirm, inserting the USB directly after putting the unit into Update mode(holding FX1+2 during power up) works immediately. I had the same stalled at FX1+2 flashing and not moving forward.

Just the Player is MK2 ready, per the Kemper product release. I have to assume whatever hardware changes started being implemented in the Player release to allow for a higher resolution profile.

Mike, check your websites email traffic. I had trouble with a purchase. When I go to retrieve the download, it asks me for my email on the account and claims I've use beyond the MAX DEVICES allowed or some BS similar to that. I see this has happened before to another customer.
My Copper pack is lock out from accessibility. You'll see I've reach out in multiple ways due to frustration. Having been a customer from the start, i never expected to have this kind of trouble.

This signal chatters(signal sounds like Morse Code) if the KPP is in WiFiOrange/Red mode. I get a connection with the phone and can edit, but until I dedeat the WiFi button on the KPP the signal does this.It makes mobile editing very difficult.

Still love them!! Such great picks! But also like the (very) small Petrucci Trinity picks now. It takes time to adjust, but then they offer great control and tone.
As you guys know I just love picks...
I keep buying picks, hoping to find the one that makes me play better!!!
Now a days, it's Tortex Flows 1.0-1.5 depending on the guitar, or V-Pick Medium P.I still have all the others, but nowhere as organized as this. Great idea, I might have to steal it!!

Former developer here... Cleaning house could be anything such as removing old unused code, or files and most of the time are irrelevant to the beta test. "Frankly they probably would have been better off just not saying anything about it" and the company really doesn't owe you any type of explanation as to what it is doing behind the scenes. What they should tell you is what new features are added so you can test them and report any issues for correction on their side.
