Advice on Guitar cab and power amp please

Hi,

I have around £1000 to spend on a nice 2x12 and power amp for my kemper - What would you guys rccomend for that price?

Do you own the toaster? How many watts would you approx. need?

What are you after? Guitar cab? FRFR? Is there a reason you are after 2x12" only.

I have a non powered toaster and would like a 2x12 for convenience. I have tried a qsc k12 and it's a bit odd at higher volumes .I suppose the question I need to ask is , is it worth dropping say 600 on a Mesa 2x12 to use with a power amp ? I am currently going into the effects return of a blackstar stage 60

I bought a mesa boogie 2x12 v30 second hand for 400€ and a t amp e 800 from thoman to power it. Bridged to mono and connected with the monitor out with cab sim off. Cost of power amp 168€ new. Sounds good but you have to be carefull with the cabs because of the power. I also use a rcf 10" sma frfr at one main out with cab sim on.
Its nice to have the boogie cab in my back for shaking my trousers and the rcf in front of me as a monitor.

My suggestion would then be to buy a Camplifier (a retrofit amp for the toaster), which you can choose between a few variations, and then go to a store and try cabs.This way, with a linear amplification, the cab will be your only variable, and your choice will certainly be well-targeted.
