would like to have the possibility of delay and reverb trails for the loop for external effects.
Trails on loop for external effects

If you switch to a rig with a similar fx loop setup, the external delay/reverb doesn't continue?
(Not in front of a Profiler atm. - will check later) -
It does, but that also keeps the loop on. It would be cool to see something where it would listen in to the FX loop until a minimum threshold is reached, then cut it off. Basically play it back in memory like an auxiliary in until silent.
The workaround is to turn on the FX loop on all channels and have the Kemper or another controller send an "off" message or a program change to an empty patch, but that also ties up one of the effect slots indefinitely. And that doesn't work at all if you have something like an analog delay in the FX loop.

It's on the list!

Would having the effect return/s always on and simply switching the send on and off work?
-
Switching the send only would introduce noise when using noisy effects in the loop even when the loop is off.

not sure I understand what you mean but ck said its on the list... -
They will come up with a good solution, I'm sure
What I meant was following. When you switch off the Send and keep the Return alive, it will still continue receiving noise of a noisy pedal in the loop.

Any news on this? Will it be included in a future release?
-
C kemper stated it is on the list Jun 2015 a year ago so I'm sure it will at some point. I don't use my loop much now so I quit watching for this.
-
Please!! do this. Perhaps it will happen in 5.0 at this point. Of course, once 5.0 comes out, I might not even need to use external effects.

any news on this please? Cheers

Wouldn't this be a matter of just muting the send only when the loop is deactivated? I've started to integrate some external gear via the loop and would love to have the trails issue (both on loop on and loop off toggles) cleaned up. As usual, as with most everyone here, I'm not crying about anything... I still own the best piece of guitar gear ever invented.

Anyone heard anything new on this?
