I like it. But the amps that I like thru my 4x12 sound bright thru the clr. And the amps that sound dark and too boomy on my 4x12 sound perfect on the clr.
Is it true that what I hear out of the CLR will be what is going to FOH ?
Got my atomic clr

Absolutely true!
CLRs are the best for the price and you will enjoy your Kemper much more. -
True that what you hear through the CLR is what's GOING to the FOH but not necessarily what's coming OUT of the FOH. That all depends on the mixer and FOH, if they're top notch and no EQ is applied, then yes, what's coming out the of the CLR is going to be very close to what's coming out of the FOH. If the sound engineer decides to start EQing your tone for whatever reason, or the FOH is a bit crappy, then yeah, you can guess the result!

+1 for jpm.
Also, a guitar cab imparts a heavy bandpass filter to a sound. Are you switching cabs back on when you use the clr? Or was the cab on with the 4x12as well? If this is the case, you were not listening to the original profiles with the 4x12. Have you tweaked them a lot?

Out front tone: Heard some positive comments and I think I might have sold a few Kempers.

Sounds great! Was that a plexi profile?

Nicely done. And congratulations on the CLR. I know I love mine

I love my CLR too. Initially I was sceptical enough to dig out my old Zilla 2x12 cab and run my Power Rack into it but I found the results underwhelming. The CLR seems to provide the same amount of low end (I was unsure this would be the case) but more definition and clarity overall... and of course the benefits of the cabinet simulation.
Now, I just need to get my recorded tones sounding as good.
