I enjoyed watching the vids.
I find the concept to be very interesting and innovative, but to propagate it on a larger scale Aspen Pittman needs to make this widely available not only in the US but Europe as well.
Otherwise it will never lose its obscurity status.
Interesting thread on TGP about an innovative FRFR stereo box!

I've read somewhere that he made a deal with Thomann for distribution in Europe.

Here is another review thread from users on TGP:

Sweetwater just sent me an email saying they got in a delivery of CPS Spacestations if anyone wants to dive in the pseudo stereo pool. I've gone Xi-tone so for now, I'm just going to be a life guard.
Scott on the other forum had a really good write up/evalution of it. The gist I took away is that if you're not really using a huge amount of stereo programming, the "standard mono amp" guitar sounds don't benefit that much. That being said, the extreme ping pong echo doesn't work that great either. Everything's just "bigger". YMMV.

If it was 10 lbs lighter I would see it as the perfect grab'n go one box stereo solution for small gigs etc. But at 40 lbs it can't be consider as an easy portable cab...
While I'm not ready to pull the trigger on this thing, I will continue, for sure, to check the evolution of this interesting concept!

Likewise. I know a lot of people are concerned that it won't provide adequate SPL, and are holding out for a bigger variation. I'm actually holding out for a smaller one, for sake of portability. Not holding my breath, of course.

I'd be willing to take a punt on one of these if they became readily available in Europe.

I'm wondering how it can handle a mono sound source. For example, if doing a single act (guitar/vocal), using a mixer to feed the Kemper and vocals to the CPS Spacestation, what would happen to the mono vocal? The way this is described, L - R would be nothing ...

To my understanding mono stays mono (=L+R). Using the CPS as a solution for strictly mono sources would be overkill.
You must feed it a stereo signal to get the benefits of the (L+R) + (L-R) combination. -
Doesn't L - R go out the side speaker? If so, then there would be nothing there ...

Exactly, in a mono feed nothing goes there. That's why I said 'overkill'. -

Hmm this could potentially create some G.A.S., just for the sake of trying them. -
The release date is right around the time when I (hopefully) finally receive the royalties that I was promised back in February, so I can definitely see myself taking a punt on this!
-
I plan on buying one soon. I have an email out to Aspen Pittman asking him about using it for a single act where vocals go through it mono.
-
Cool! Tell us how you get on, @Zappledan
