I'm reading about issues being reported so I'm curious how many have upgraded?
I upgraded my KPA last week and it's been fine. Seems like it boots up and shuts down quicker.

If you use your KPA with existing profiles, you would't have any problem.
The bugs concern mainly users who profiles Direct amp/merged profiles or who use powerhead feeding a cab...
I have upgraded and immediately I had an issue.. Some knid of problems regarding MIDI set up was written in the message although I was doing nothing with midi and no midi device was connected..took photo and had to reboot the toaster..
Another issue.. On some profiles when I tried merge cabs function and saved them everything was ok but on the others when I saved them they sounded horrible.. It was impossible to save them correctly..
Also upgraded Rig Manager which works but very strangely.. But it at least it works somewhat..
I have not opened the support ticket since I read on this forum that there are many bugs in FW3.0 and Kemper is working on how to fix them
I haven't messed with DI profiles too much yet. Seemed OK. But yeah, regular profiling has worked fine. Just like before.
I have upgraded and noticed 3 issues so far:
did one DI profile and one studio profile and couldnt find the cab from my studio profile.
turning off an on solved that one.
DI profile of one clean amp turn out really distorted no matter what,
Studio profile went fine , light cab on but sounded like without cab.,
I upgraded and the only problem I have had is the Tuner not muting when switched on from the unit itself.
Problems with both beta and release. Mainly increased sw.time and cracling noise when switching.
I have updated and noticed a couple of problems. The minor issue is that the tuner doesn't show what note it is tuning at startup. It works fine when going from a performance back to tuner. The biggest issue is random static and digital noise when going between slots in a performance. That seems to be related to the number of effects turning on and off in the slots. It also makes a lot of noise going between performances. I haven't noticed it as much when in browser mode but then again I spend almost all of my time in performance mode.
I haven't seen anything major in how I use it on a daily basis.
2 machines updated, no problems thank fuck cos very busy recording.
All ok, done a gig last weekend with 3.0 and nothing major just the tuner problem and a funny spaceship sound on one patch which I reported to Kemper HQ and they think they know the issue
No problem here. I did extensive rehearsals with 3.0.
I don't use Direct Amp profiles or cab merging right now tho which is where the bug reports seem to concentrate on.
Besides the issues with tuner (chicken head on tuner) I have not found anything to complain. No profiling so far (never done that so far...)
Are you switching using midi lobster56? I had the same problem, had to set midi receive channel on the KPA to channel 2 (was set on Omni before 3.0) and also set my midi pedal to send on channel 2, noises and delays went away.
I'm curious how those who have been primarily using DI profiles through power amp/real cabs feel compared to using 3.0 profiled versions. I know that we've had a few who regularly comment when the DI subject came up.

I'm using MIDI, but I'm having the same issues switching Rigs if I use the buttons or loading Rigs from Rig Manager. I will look in to your suggestion, thanks. /Hans
no issues but DID NOT install merged rigs
3.0 and go...
I haven´t. I´m still waiting for a stable release. Too many bug-reports at the moment.
Same here (see other threads in this very section).
