I Look forward to the demos as much as the new packs
Since the loomis black outs I have I believe are voiced based on Jeff's love of Engl amps
I jump on any thing Engl now days but this is some thing else man.
This is a great Doom/Black Death sound for me

My Dying Wallet
Frank/ Lars on a serious note, there is an impressive range of low gain, CRUNCH (killer) clean and high gain here.
I thought it might just be all balls to the wall (i would still like it ) , but FMD man, there are some KILLER Crunch ,
even old skool 80's metal here for me on the black outs (Try CR 04 , CR04M KILLER 80's metal turn up the reverb a bit )
Road King Cab is GREAT.Not all Doom or metal at all, what a cool surprise man
Still going through them will post more highlights soonYou guys killed it on the CRUNCH in this pack man

Very impressed by your good work old chap!
I own a Schecter KM7 mkii with the Nazgul pickup in it and play music along the lines of The Black Dahlia Murder, At The Gates, Benighted and Hypocrisy.
What profile packs of yours would you recommend I checking out first that would suit that style? I don't know if it's the upper mids in that pickup but I'm finding it hard to get a decent melodic death tone at the moment.
You seem like the people to talk to since half of my list appear on the front page of your website

Hi
hard to give you a propper suggestion. I never played the Nazgul pickups. All my Guitars have EMGs, Gibson 498Ts or Fishmans.
My Profiles sound great with all of them..but always like the guitar/pickup/player etc. the character is off course always there.
If the Nazguls have some stuff you don´t like..this will always be there..no matter what profile.Usually for that style you can´t go wrong Peaveys/Mesas/Marshalls.
Maybe give the "Mega Oversize pack" a try..there are a few amps included..and always a good start to get an idea for Metal.but - before you buy anything...search the Rigexchange for "Deadlight Studio" there a loads of free profiles to give you an idea

Not to forget Engle Extreme. Really brutal! Or Herbert. Killer profiles too
-
@sketchyluke182, the Nazgul has a really strong personality from all those upper mids, and I didn't get along with it in my KM-7 or Banshee 6. I'd really recommend dropping in a Black Winter for the style you mentioned. Just as aggressive as the Nazgul, and still plenty of mids, but a lot more balanced and enjoyable EQ-wise. It matches up well with the Sentient neck pickup too, if you don't wanna bother with a whole new set.
BTW, besides checking out the freebies, the Engl Savage pack owns for the brutal stuff. I've had it for a year or two and some packs (like the Mesa Rev G) may match it in quality with a different flavor, but IMO there's nothing better.
