Can anyone comment if this feels like playing through a guitar speaker cab with moving air etc...?

It's moving a lot of air but definitely feels different to playing through a guitar cab. Not worse, just a little different.
What you're hearing through the CLR is a miked cab. -
Thanks Ingolf! Do you have experience with the 2010 version? If so, did you notice if the tubes colored the sound?
-
You mean the predecessor of the CLR, the Atomic FR?
They are not in the same league concerning neutralness. This is not due to them using tubes but because of the superior CLR concept.
I used to own two of them and really, the CLR is far better. -
Ah, good to know. I see two FR's for sale for a good price, but in hearing this, going the CLR route might be better.
Thanks again!
-
Yep, two different products at all.

u godam rite -
I can buy a few used Atomic cabs but I thinks they older type cabs
8 ohms
- 12” 200w driver
- 1” Tweeter with 4.5” horn (to 20kHz)
- Crossover networkShould they be good for using with a powered rack (600 watts ? )
\And are they as good as the newer ones -
No, definitely not recommended. Better to look at a different brand if they are not CLR, they'd be not even close
-
Ok thanks !
