A rough demo version for the next Coraxo EP. A big thanks for PaulTS for the 60's Fuzz profile that sounds perfect for the lead part in the middle. Whenever I need something that sounds just a bit special and out of the ordinary, your profiles do the job!

EDIT:
New mix with real drums and vocals. Vocals are done in the style of "chaotic evil".

Thanks man! It's the first song for me to write solely on keys first, then everything else. Up to now I've always written the guitars first.

"Chaotic Evil" is a GREAT way to describe the vocal - well done!

djemass - I've done a lot of rack FX and synth programming over the years, so I have plenty of practice at trying to get music gear to make strange noises

They sounded fine to me, but, I don't listen to enough Death Metal to know where most people put them in the mix.

Have you compared the mix to similar songs? That is the best way I know for making final mix tweaks. I always compare mixes with a couple of similar songs - if the instrument balance is similar, and the lows and highs, and the overall volume is close enough, then the song is mixed well enough to fit in with other songs in the same style.

Yeah I'm using the Dark Tranquillity album Construct as a reference but to me the drums are way too quiet on that album. Everything else sounds nice and clear on it though.
