Multi Mic'd Bogner Überschall Profiles and Rigs

Hi,

feel free to download some of my Bogner Profiles and complete Rigs.

Amp: Bogner Überschall with Exrended 2x12 cab
additional Pedal on some Profles/Rigs: Maxon808

Mics used: sm57 and e609
MicPre: ADL 600

Some were direct, others with MicPre and some are a blend.

Fanboy mode ON: AWESOME! I subscribed to your youtube channel a while back and saw the videos with the KPA. Are those the profiles you used on your videos too? Because I think I remember you used Uberschall profiles there and they did sound great!

Haha! Thanks! Yes, all these profiles are used in the videos and I made some more with a mic pre and different mics since I read that some people here on this forum don't like the 57 sound...the next best thing is the 609 before going into crazy expensive land.

Thanks for downloading and please let me know how you like them and what I could do better or what features should be included in the recording process.

All Profiles starting with "GS" are basic profiles, recorded with sm57 or e609, some direct some with a micpre and some are blends of the 2 mics...

The Lightspeeder rigs are playing patches that I used for recordings etc.

Hi & Thx for the profiling ... but I could not import them by drag n drop on my Rig Manager , you should really upload them to the Rig Exchange , so anyone can test them directly ?

Anyone got this issue too ? I could import other rigs but not this collection

Thanks for letting me know about your problem. I am a mac user thusly I don't use the rig manager yet but you should have no issues transferring the files via the "old" method with the USB stick. Take the profiles, place them into the shred folder and then plug I the USB stick into the KPA and choose import etc....please let me know if this works for you.

waraba, I also had trouble importing Till's Chimera profiles via Rig Manager, and the issue turned out to be an invalid character in the file path (not the files themselves). My advice is to copy them to your desktop, then try to drag-drop them into Rig Manager. If there's still an issue, you should contact support - that's really not German's fault. Let them know the full file path of the files and send them the files themselves.

The invalid character for Till's Chimera was an accute accent character instead of the normal apostophe. Once replaced by an apostrophe, Rig Manager could import no problem. Surprisingly Windows had no problem with it being in the path.

Thx pals , I did open a thread in the RM sub.

German I think you'll find much more audience on the Rig Exchange than on a thread , it's really worth it, I hope we soon get a way to upload from the RM to the RE.

interesting problem. Thanks meambobbo for pointing this out. As I said, I am using a Mac in my studio, so no Rig Manager for me yet, otherwise I might have noticed the issue too,

waraba, I did upload some of these profiles on the Rig exchange months ago but was asked to place a specific link for these, since that isn't possible I put them on my Dropbox. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

I was able to import the rigs via Rig Manager without any issue, German.

I was not saying that the file names of your profiles are causing Rig Manger grief, or the folder names you used. I'm saying that if I downloaded your zip file and unzipped all the files into a parent folder with an "illegal" character as far as Rig Manager is concerned, no matter which way you try to do it, they will not import. The reason so many people had issues with Till's patches, was because the zip file had the illegal character. So when you unzip, if you choose to unzip into a folder with the same name, the folder contains the illegal character. I didn't see any illegal characters in any of the parent folders for your rigs.
