I have a stereo setup and it sounds AMAZING. Delays and overall sound is much better, imho. I run two TS115A's. Highly recommend it. The rig sounds HUGE. Here is a pic

I meant to add that I'm mainly talking about live setup.
Can't image performing mono.
My stereo setup : 4 x 12 marshall cabinet + atomic clr
I love stereo delays
I have a twisted opinion about this.
Although I love stereo, stereo delays, chorus, things that pan from left to right etc. I'm not sure it works well in an average live scenario.
1. People in the audience standing not in the middle but too far left or right will not get something really useful out of your tweaked stereo efforts but only a crippled version (left or right channel) which will sound weaker than a strong mono signal with 'full content' if you know what I mean.
2. Even heavy FX users like The Edge, Andy Summers or Jonny Buckland of Coldplay play mono (and I mean playing live and also even record mostly mono).
That's why I'm playing mono at the moment.
Are there arguments that could persuade to go stereo?
You raise some good points Ingolf. I don't play large spaces and don't plan on a wide stereo sound but it would certainly inspire me hearing it that way.
The stereo effect does not need to be 100% but maybe 60%.
Also is there a way to send the mono signal up front and have stereo for my monitoring?

This is easy: set main outs to master mono and monitor outs to master stereo.

I think he meant to pan the KPA's input strips on the mixer to 60% L & R.

The phase cancellation occurs anytime you have more than one speaker. Most bands have L & R PA stacks. There is cancellation everywher but perfectly in the middle.
Even a single speaker in a room has cancellations due to frequencies reflecting from all 6 or more surfaces. That undesirable cancellatin IS the room...the same room we want our KPA to sound like! Running stereo doesn't make it worse, just different. the sound is less in your face and more "in the room" IMHO.

Had a chance to use the stereo rig at my gig last night. It is quite overwhelmingly huge sounding!
The band members referred to it as the bubble of sound.
Lots of work to do on my rigs and sounds as they still sound a bit too processed but I feel spoiled with all this sound!
Glad I went stereo so far.

I also have the Alto TS112A. I set Kemper to output mono and master output to max, I then use 2 mic cables to go into the Alto and turn both channels on, sounds good, better than single cable mono.
