activated the INST button on my interface as the signal would be too quiet
the inst button is to change the impedance of the input if you connect your guitar directly to the interface.
don´t connect your kemper with an xlr cable to the scarlett, as it will "think" you connected a microfon ( will distort your signal).
from the manual:
The Scarlett 2i2 has no “Mic/line” switch – the Focusrite preamp stage is automatically configured for a microphone when you plug an XLR into the input, and for a line or instrument when you connect a jack plug. Set the INST switch ON (‘INST’ illuminates red) if you are connecting musical instrument, e.g., a guitar in the example, using an ordinary 2-pole (TS) guitar jack. Set the INST switch to OFF if you are connecting a line level source such as a keyboard, synthesiser or the balanced output of an external audio mixer via a 3-pole (TRS) jack. Note the Combo connector accepts both TRS and TS types of jack plug.

external pedal assignments (remote has 2, stage 4)
just to avoid confusion:
the toaster provides you with 2 pedals on the head plus 4 pedal jacks on the remote, each can hold one expression pedal, one mono switch or one dual switch.
The lehle is lighter, but it won´t move around at all, and i like that it´s very flat compared to other pedals.
The power requirement IS an annoyance. (at home i power it from an usb hub).
The feel is of course different compared to the mission, but for me you can only use the mission for wah wah, that´s why i got the lehle in the first place.
the build quality is excellent, as is the service, if you have any questions.
You can eliminate squeaks by improving your left hand technique. it´s not the strings that are squeaking, it´s the way you move your finger. In the beginning it seems very hard to to, but it gets automatic after a while.

And if you can´t lift your finger, because you want to slide up to a note, and hear the slide without squeaking, this method works:
