I also immediately bent the prongs when I tried to fit my brand new EPROM in.
I just bent them back and managed to fit it in, and it works perfectly (and hasn't failed me since I got it, dunno, 6-10 months ago)

I hope these features come soon! I just started playing bass alongside guitar and I use the Kemper for that as well, obviously. I am still in search of a great distorted bass tone

Hi pioneers and early believers here,
Thank you for your early and continuous support! The story has just started, I hope.
In 10 years or 20, we will remember you guys from day 0, 1 and 2!CK
03/08/12 still counts as early? I even convinced my bandmate after the first gig!

No problem, man... It always stays a matter of taste. Don´t be too gentle with the tone stack...The sourth sample is profile "024 C" without any further tweaks. Have fun...
I'm going to be tweaking for a while

Sorry to be the party pooper, but I wasn't that impressed with the rigs out of the box, all of them were too round and bassy for high gain rhythm.
Nr 2 got really good with some eqing, but not better than my current main sound, so I'm not replacing anything at the moment.
I'm a "one main sound for everything" kind of guy though, and I'll definitely leave the rigs on my Kemper, maybe I'll use one of the profiles for crunch or lead somedayOne question for Till: which profile was used for the fourth sample on your website? That's the one that sold me, it was cutting but full and sounded like a real contender for main sound (maybe I need to tweak some more, I'm being very lazy right now)

I tried this as well, and I have encountered two problems.
I don't have a mono to stereo cable, so I tried it with just a mono cable for the return signal, so this may be the reason for everything
When I use the return jack, I get no sound from the looper pedal, when I use the alternative input the looper sounds fine, but my own sound gets serious phasing issues (probably because of a small delay in the loop) -

Dude, I sold my only tube amp before my Kemper even arrived. Didn't regret it once

Thanks for the shoutout good tips here

You can delete all of your profiles that are NOT in your favourites at once (System page 8/9, Erase Non-Favourites)
Should be faster -
I mostly switch to a different rig (I play metal, so my rhythm rig has lots of gain itself and usually needs the volume knob at max)
This thread inspired me to try turning the volume knob a bit down on a few parts and turn it up again for the chunkier parts afterwards
I still use a separate rig for actual solos because I like to add reverb and delay and have a slightly different tone -
Sorry, I forgot to update the thread.

"I'm wondering, if you perhaps have a memory problem. You could do
the following: First perform a backup and check on a PC, that the size
of the backup archive is reasonable and that each of the rigs included
has 4kb. Then start maintenance mode by pushing and holding softbutton 1
above the display, while you switch the unit on into Tuner Mode. Select
Maintenance, Memory, Flash Init, press Ok and exit. Start the
Profiler like normal and restore your backup."I followed the instructions, and I haven't had any problems since. I didn't assign one rig to two buttons this time though, maybe that was the problem.

I opened a ticket. Gotta do some annoying real life stuff, will be back with my Kemper in the evening

Did you update to 1.5.2?
Timo
Yep.

Are you guys using the latest FW?
I am, I try to keep up to date at all times. I think I only had this problem with the newest firmware, although it is possible that the first time I still used the version before this one and just forgot
-
I've had this exact problem before; although, it only seems to occur when I'm in the process of reassigning the midi PC numbers. I've tried to be very anal and "unassign" the number from the old rig before I "assign" it to the new rig....but that hasn't always worked. It's almost as if the KPA copies the rig for the most recent PC assignment, and copies that rig to any other footswitches I depress afterward.
IIRC, the rigs that were deleted by this process were also removed from my favorites.....weird.
I'd really like CK to chime in on this....the problem is that I can't replicate the issue on demand - it seems random.
BTW, I use a Ground Control Pro. Also, I'm not on the most recent firmware as, alas, I am a "Rig-a-holic" and have way more than 1,000 rigs (actually, I'm just waiting for the editor to be able to thin the herd).
It's actually possible that I mixed it up and it happened the same way as with you, I don't remember the steps 100%.
Thanks for the comments!Edit: I mean I'm unsure about the bug I had in the past where I only lost assignments. I'm 99% sure about the steps I took with the recent bugs where I actually lost rigs.
