Well hypothetically then, what would mean if it did/did not profile alone?
hypothetically, we would know what it means - if you practically did it.

Hey there, I wasn't being cheeky. I'd genuinely like to know
sorry, but this is a moot point.
I'm trying to provide hands-on troubleshooting, I can't afford spending time on a somewhat philosophical debate.
speculating about what could be responsible if something behaved a certain way (or not) doesn't help.
we need to break down the (signal) chain into individual pieces and look at those.
As I mentioned before, some fuzz pedal need to "see" a guitar pickup at the input, so a pickup siumulation device is needed additionally.
Hi!
Did you use something like this? Or a different design?

Thanks in advance.

yes, exactly!
I followed these instructions and it worked.
Actually I'm amazed at how good it sounds and reproduces the original pedal (Black Arts Toneworks Pharaoh).
Now I can have my pedals wherever I go with the kemper. Incredible !

I loved the demos of the Pharao fuzz I heard so far - looking forward to try this rig!
many thanks!
I ulpoaded it this afternoon, search pharaoh in the rig exchange and let me know what you think
BTW I have no mic so I used the direct output of my amp, which includes a simulated cab. The cab didn't sound good that's why i switched it for a tills cab.
Also of course it is a profile of the particular settings I used with the Pharaoh:
switches: Hi + Si
fuzz =2, tone= 11, high= 3, volume= 3 (o'clock)

cool!
nice to know.
I like that the profiles has the suffix '01' - meaning there's plenty more to profile
also,
please start a new thread about the Pharao fuzz profiles in the free rigs section, we keep bumping an older 'problem' thread.
thanks.
