Big dissapointment for me is the fact that the power amp for KPA hasn't stereo output but only a mono.
We are talking for a unit with a lot stereo effects, chorus, reverb etc, but the new amp cannot correspond properly....
and have two outputs to feed a stereo cabinet or two different passive monitors. Too pity.
Stereo Amp output

I tend to think the power amp is meant to feed a monitor (guitar cab).
-
Agree with big HF: enough other tools on the market if you want to do it that way, no need to re-invent the weel. What the KPA does is and remain unique.
-
allegretto, most players only use mono with a guitar cab, but if you must have a built in stereo power amp then grab one from kpa-solutions. http://www.kpa-solutions.com/
I also think Matrix is working on one.Any other stereo power amp will do if you don't need it built in.
-
So, you say that would be a problem if there was a stereo output? Why?
There are players (like me) who use two cabinets in stereo.
How do you use your kemper in a live situation? -
you say that would be a problem if there was a stereo output
Nobody says there would be a problem.
Kemper decided to make their own power amp stereo, that's all.
I think this is due to the fact that > 90% of all guitar players monitor in mono anyway.
If you are an exception, fine.
As pointed out there are severeal other solutions available from third party companies. -

As pointed out there are severeal other solutions available from third party companies.Even with a third party power amp, you still won´t get a stereo monitor signal out of the KPA while feeding the FOH with the full signal. This is because the cabdriver only works on the monitor out. Since the Kemper power amp is also only in mono, i don´t think they will ever change this. I also would have preferred a stereo solution but i guess we will to live with it.

If your monitors are FRFR, you can run it stereo (monitor out, direct out). Camplifier running stereo
-
So, in a live concert you use the stage monitors and get a mono output from the kemper and the audience listen to you from the phones output via master console and master monitors?

The way I do it I feed main outs XLR to FOH, main outs TS to my stage monitors and if I have/need a backline amp/cab I feed it with the monitor out with cab off. The headphone out is at 330 ohm, is not made to feed a mixer.

How do you use your kemper in a live situation?Mono! Realy? The stereo powerhead must be on my wish list then. I like
to use Kemper Profiler like a real guitar amp in stereo when I need to. -

I dont understand? this is in german, how can I get it? A power amp, stereo build in to Kemper profiler?

You can buy gear directly from them. They are a different company with different products.
Here is the link. http://www.kpa-solutions.com/ -
Thanks HappyKemper! Maybe Im gona be a even more happy kemper

Yes, I think there should be a stereo version of the Kemper Power Amp as I also want to run 2 cabs in stereo and I would prefer to have a Kemper made Power Amp. Also, there should be the option of making the direct out and the monitor out be able to both have the cab off (cab driver) possibility. This way you could have a stereo sound on stage for yourself and still run the cab on via the main outputs out front.

I've watched some of the best bands in the world live, Queen, Bon Jovi, U2, Foreigner, Metallica, etc, etc...never seen the guitarists from one of those bands monitor themselves in stereo on stage.
In fact, I can't think of one guitarist who does it?Am I missing something here?
-
Don't know the others but The Edge goes by sure Stereo on stage.
