I own the old non-amplified toaster Kemper Profiler, have the pedal-board and the square gig bag too.
I am planning a relocation to another country soon, and would love to take it with me. Any idea how?
I do know for sure - that airlines respect instruments and allow to get on the plane with a guitar instead of a backpack.
Can I do the same with the KP?

I have carried it on before in my Kemper bag, but it will be your carry on. I haven't had a problem with this before. You could also get a flight case and check it. Much of this depends on the airline you are flying.
I've carried on a dozen boiled gulf crabs in an insulated bag. The only problem I had was Security wanting to taste them.
if the size of whatever you put put in is within a personal item size you are good . I travel American airlines 98% of the time . i use to cary my profiler STAGE in a backpack and my guitar as the carry-on without issue .

American Airlines:
"The total size of your carry-on, including the handles and wheels, cannot exceed 22 x 14 x 9 inches
(56 x 36 x 23 cm) and must fit in the sizer at the airport."
So you can carry-on a travel size guitar. However, if you are on a Boeing Jet, you can carry a full size guitar and hang it out the door that blows away because someone forgot to tighten the nuts.
